First revelation — Before

3. Seclusion (Hira’)

First revelation — During

1. Jibril came, ‘3 times’

2. “Surah Al-’Alaq 1-5”

3. ‘Cover me, cover me!’ “I fear that something may happen to me”.

First revelation — After

1. Khadijah “Never! By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you…”

2. Waraqah bin Naufal, ‘Musa AS’

3. Pause, Muddatthir 1-5

1st way of revelation

Good dreams, “ The commencement of the divine revelation to come to the Messenger of Allah came in the form of Good dreams which came true like bright day light”. Narrated by Aisyah RA

2nd way of revelation

Inspiration, ‘Wahee’, Jibril would cast or breath into the prophet’s heart without being seen, and the Prophet would have no doubt that it is from Allah.

3rd way of revelation

Coming like the ringing of a bell, “ Sometimes it (the revelation) is like the ringing of a bell, and this is the most difficult”.

4th way of revelation

Direct behind the Veil, ‘Mi’raj’

5th way of revelation

Through an Angel, original/man form, ‘Hadeeth of Jibril teaching Islam’
