Mark 1.1-6

1(The) beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ [Son of God]; 2as it is written in Isaiah the prophet: Behold I am sending my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way. 3Voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 4John the Baptizer came in the wilderness [and (he came)] proclaiming a baptism of repentance for (the) forgiveness/remission of sins (or: release from sins). 5And all the Judaean land/area was coming out to him and all the Jerusalemites, and they were being baptized by him in the Jordan river confessing/acknowledging their sins. 6And John had clothed himself with hairs of a camel and a leather belt around his waist and he was eating locusts and wild honey.

Matthew 3.1-6

AND in those days John the Baptist comes proclaiming in the wilderness of Judaea 2and saying, Repent, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn near. 3For this is the one spoken of through Isaiah the prophet saying, Voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 4AND John had his clothing from hairs of a camel and a leather belt around his waist, AND his nourishment was locusts and wild honey. 5Then Jerusalem was going out to him and all Judaea and all the land around the Jordan 6and they were being baptized in the Jordan river by him confessing/ acknowledging their sins.

Luke 3:1-6

AND in the fifteenth year of the rule/reign of Tiberius Caesar, with Pontius Pilate ruling (as governor) over Judaea (or: being governor of Judaea), and with Herod ruling as tetrarch over Galilee (or: being tetrarch of Galilee), AND with Philip his brother ruling as tetrarch over the land/area of Iturea and Trachonitis (or: being tetrarch of...), and with Lysanius ruling as tetrarch over Abilene (or: being tetrarch of...), 2at the time of the high priest Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to/upon John the son of Zechariah in the wilderness. 3And he went to all the land/area/region around the Jordan (or: all the surrounding region of the Jordan) proclaiming a baptism of repentance for (the) forgiveness/remission of sins (or: release from sins), 4as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, Voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight; 5every ravine/gully will be filled and every mountain and hill will be made low, and the crooked things will become straight and the rough (roads) will become smooth ways; 6and all flesh will see the salvation of God.

Mark 1.7-8

7And he proclaimed saying, The one stronger than I is coming after me, the strap of whose/his sandals I am not sufficient/worthy bending down to untie (= to bend down and untie). 8I baptized you with water, BUT he will baptize you in/with (the) Holy Spirit.

Matthew 3.11-12:

11I am baptizing you in/with water for repentance, BUT the one coming after me is stronger than I, whose sandals I am not sufficient/worthy to carry; he will baptize you in/with (the) Holy Spirit and fire, 12whose winnowing shovel/fork (is) in his hand, and he will clean/purify his threshing floor (or: his threshed grain) and will gather his grain into the barn/storehouse, BUT the straw/chaff he will burn up in/with unquenchable fire.

Luke 3:15-18

15And as the people were waiting (in suspense) and all were discussing/deliberating/reasoning in their hearts concerning John whether he might perhaps be the Christ, 16John answered saying to all, I am baptizing you in/with water, BUT the one stronger than I is coming, the strap of whose/his sandal I am not sufficient/worthy to loosen; he will baptize you in/with (the) Holy Spirit and fire, 17whose winnowing shovel/fork (is) in his hand to clean/purify his threshing floor (or: his threshed grain) and to gather (the) grain into [his] barn/storehouse; BUT he will burn up the straw/chaff in/with unquenchable fire. 18So then, exhorting many and other things (or: exhorting also many other things) he was gospeling the people (or: announcing the good news to the people).

Mark 1.9-11

9And it happened in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and he was baptized in(to) the Jordan by John. 10And straightway coming up from (ἐκ) the water he saw the heavens (or: skies) being torn/rent and the Spirit as a dove descending (in)to (εἰς). him. 11And a voice came from the heavens (or: skies), You are my beloved Son, with you I am well pleased (or: I have taken delight).

Matthew 3.13-17

13Then Jesus comes from Galilee to the Jordan to John to be baptized by him. 14BUT John was hindering/preventing (or: trying to hinder/prevent) him saying, I have need to be baptized by you and are you coming to me? 15BUT answering Jesus said to him, Permit (it) now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness/justice. Then he permits him. 16AND being baptized Jesus straightway came up from (ἀπὸ) the water. And behold the heavens (or: skies) were opened and he saw God’s Spirit descending as a dove [and] coming upon (ἐπ ̓) him. 16And behold a voice from the heavens (or: skies) saying, This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased (or I have taken delight).

Luke 3:21-22

21AND it happened as all the people were baptized and when Jesus had been baptized and was praying that heaven (or: the sky) was opened 22and the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form as a dove upon (ἐπ ̓) him, and a voice came from heaven (or: the sky), You are my beloved Son, with you I am well pleased (or: I have taken delight).

Mark 1.12-13:

12And straightway/ then the Spirit cast him out into the wilderness. 13And he was in the wilderness for forty days being tested/ tempted by Satan, and he was with the wild animals, and the angels were serving him.

Matthew 4.1-11

1Then Jesus was led into the wilderness by the Spirit to be tested/tempted by the devil. 2And having fasted for forty days and forty nights later he was/became hungry. 3And approaching the tester/tempter said to him, If you are God’s Son, say that these stones should become bread (or: speak in order that these stones may become bread). 4BUT he answering said, It is written, The human being shall not live by (or: on the basis of) bread alone, but by (or: on the basis of) every word coming out through the mouth of God. 5Then the devil takes him (in)to the holy city and stood/set him on the pinnacle of the temple, 6and he says to him, If you are God’s Son, cast yourself down; for it is written: He will command his angels concerning you and upon hands they will lift you, lest you strike your foot against a stone. 7Jesus said (or: was saying) to him, Again it is written, You shall not test/tempt the Lord your God. 8Again the devil takes him (on)to a very high mountain, and he shows to him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory 9and he said to him, All these things I will give to you, if falling down you worship (or: pay obeisance to; or: prostrate yourself before) me. 10Then Jesus says to him, Go away, Satan; for it is written, The Lord your God shall you worship (or: pay obeisance to; or: prostrate yourself before) and him alone shall you serve. 11Then the devil leaves him, and behold angels approached and were serving him.

Luke 4:1-13

1AND Jesus full of (the) Holy Spirit returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness 2for forty days being tested/tempted by the devil. And he ate nothing in those days and when they were completed, he was/became hungry. 3AND the devil said to him, If you are God’s Son, say to this stone that it should become bread (or: speak to this stone in order that it may become bread). 4And Jesus answered him, It is written: The human being shall not live by (or: on the basis of) bread alone [[but by (or: on the basis of) every word of God]]. 5And leading him up he showed to him all the kingdoms of the inhabited world in a moment of time 6and the devil said to him, I will give to you all this authority (or: power; or: domain) and their glory, for it is handed over to me and I give it to whomever I wish/want. 7Therefore, you, if you prostrate yourself before me (or: worship before me), all (authority) will be yours. 8And answering Jesus said to him, It is written, You shall worship (or: pay obeisance to; or: prostrate yourself before) (the) Lord your God and him alone shall you serve. 9AND he led him (in)to Jerusalem and he stood/set (him) on the pinnacle of the temple and he said to him, If you are God’s Son, cast yourself down from here, 10for it is written: He will command his angels concerning you to guard/protect you 11and: On hands they will lift you lest you strike your foot against a stone. 12And answering Jesus said to him: It is said, You shall not test/tempt (the) Lord your God. 13And having completed every test/temptation, the devil departed (or: went away) from him until (a/the opportune/given) time (or: for a while).

Mark 6.1-6a:

1And he went away from there, and he comes to his hometown, and his disciples follow him. 2And when the Sabbath came, he began to teach in the synagogue; and many, hearing, were astounded saying, Whence (does) he (have) these things, and what (is) the wisdom given to him and such deeds of power are happening through his hands? 3Is this not the craftsman/carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of Jacob/James and Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended/repelled by him. 4And Jesus was saying to them: A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and among his relatives/family and in his house(hold). 5And he was not able to do any deed of power there, except placing the hands on a few sick persons he cured (them). 6And he was marveling at (or: because of) their unbelief.

Matt 13.53-58

53 And it happened when Jesus finished/completed these parables that he departed from there. 54And coming into his hometown he was teaching them in their synagogue, so that they were astounded and were saying, Whence (does) he (have) this wisdom and the(se) deeds of power? 55Is this not the son of the craftsman/carpenter? Is not his mother called Mary and his brothers Jacob/James and Joseph and Simon and Judas/Jude? 56And are not all his sisters with us? Whence then (does) he (have) all these things? 57And they were offended/repelled by him. BUT Jesus said to them, A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his house(hold). And he did not do many deeds of power there because of their unbelief.

Luke 4:16-30

16And he came (in)to Nazareth where he had been brought up and entered according to what was customary for him on the day of the Sabbaths into the synagogue and he rose to read (aloud). 17And (the) book/scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him and unrolling the book/scroll he found the place where it had been written, 18(The) Spirit of (the) Lord (is) upon me, because of which he has anointed me to gospel (or: announce the good news) to the poor/destitute, he has sent me to proclaim release/liberty/forgiveness to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send away/out the oppressed/mistreated/shattered in liberty/freedom/ forgiveness, 19to proclaim the favorable/acceptable/welcome year of the Lord (or: ... he has anointed me. He has sent me to gospel to the poor/destitute, to proclaim release...). 20And rolling up the (little) book/scroll giving (it) back to the attendant he sat down and the eyes of all in the synagogue were looking intently at him. 21AND he began to say to them: Today this scripture is fulfilled in your ears. 22And all were bearing witness to him and were marveling at (or: because of) the words of grace (or: the graceful words) coming out of/from his mouth and they were saying, Is this not Joseph’s son? 23And he said to them, No doubt (or: Perhaps) you will tell me this parable, Physician, cure yourself; as many things as we have heard happening (or: being done) in Capernaum do also here in your hometown. 24BUT he said, Amen I say to you: No prophet is accepted/acceptable/welcome in his hometown. 25BUT I say to you in truth, There were many widows in the days of Elijah in Israel, when heaven (or: the sky) was shut for three years and six months, when a great famine came upon the land, 26and to none of them was Elijah sent except to Zarephath in Sidon to a woman, (who was) a widow (or: to a widow woman). 27And there were many lepra-persons in Israel at the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them were cleansed/purified except Naaman the Syrian. 28And all were filled with fury/anger hearing these things in the synagogue. 29And rising they cast him out outside of the city/town and they led him up to the edge/brow of the hill/mountain on which their city/town had been built, so that (or: in order that) they could throw him down the precipice. 30BUT he passing through the midst of them was going (on his way).

Mark 4.1-2:

1And again he began to teach beside the sea. And a very large crowd gathered to him, so that he, getting into the boat, was sitting on the sea, and all the crowd were near/facing the sea on the land/earth. 2And he was teaching them many things (or: much/at length) in parables and he was saying to them in his teaching

Matthew 13.1-3

1On that day Jesus, having gone out of the house, was sitting beside the sea. 2And many crowds gathered to him, so that he, getting into the boat, was sitting, and all the crowd stood on the beach. 3And he spoke many things (or: much/at length) to them in parables saying...

Luke 5:1-11

1AND it happened as the crowd was pressing on him and hearing the word of God that he was standing beside the lake of Gennesaret. 2And he saw two boats standing beside the lake. AND the fishers, getting out of them, were washing the nets. 3AND getting into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, he asked him to put out a little from the land. AND sitting down from the boat he was teaching the crowds. 4AND when he stopped speaking, he said to Simon, Put out into the deep and let down your nets for (the) catch. And answering Simon said, Boss (epistata [= Ruden]), working/toiling through the whole night we took/caught nothing. 5BUT at (or: because of) your word I will let down the nets. 6And doing this they enclosed/caught a great multitude of fish, AND their nets were tearing (or: were about to tear; or: were beginning to tear). 7And they gestured/signaled to the partners/colleagues in the other boat that coming they should assist them (or: to come and assist them). And they came and filled both boats with the result that they were sinking (or: were about to sink; or: were beginning to sink). 8AND seeing (it) Simon Peter fell down at the knees of Jesus saying, Go away from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord (kurios). 9For amazement/awe/fright had enclosed/gripped him and all those with him at (or: because of) the catch of fish; 10AND likewise also Jacob/James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners/colleagues of Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, Do not be afraid; from now on you (sg.) will be capturing/catching (alive) human beings. 11And leading/bringing the boats in to land, leaving all/everything, they followed him.

Mark 1.16-20

16And passing along alongside the sea of Galilee he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting in the sea, for they were fishers. 17And Jesus said to them, Come behind/after me, and I will make you become fishers of human beings. 18And straightway, leaving their nets, they followed him. 19And going on a little he saw Jacob/James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, and (he saw) them in the boat preparing/repairing the nets 20and straightway he called them. And leaving their father Zebedee in the boat with the wage- workers they went off behind/after him.

Matt 4.18-22

18AND walking around alongside the sea of Galilee he saw two brothers, Simon the one called Peter and Andrew his brother, casting a casting-net into the sea, for they were fishers. 19And he says to them, Come behind/after me, and I will make you fishers of human beings. 20AND they straightaway leaving their nets, followed him. 21And going on from there he saw two other brothers, Jacob/James the son of Zebedee and John his brother in the boat with Zebedee their father preparing/ repairing their nets, and he called them. 22AND they straightaway leaving the boat and their father followed him.

Mark 2.1-12

1And when he entered again into Capernaum through days/after some days, it was heard that he was in the house (or: in a house; or: at home). 2And many gathered together (or: were gathered together) with the result that there was no longer room, not even at/near the door, and he was speaking to them the word. 3And they come bringing to him a paralytic being lifted/carried by four persons. 4And not being able to bring (him) to him because of the crowd they unroofed the roof where he was and digging (it) out they lower the mat/bed where the paralytic was lying down. 5And when Jesus saw their faith, he says to the paralytic, Child, your sins are forgiven [or (text): have been forgiven] you. 6AND there were some of the scribes there sitting and deliberating/reasoning in their hearts, 7Why is this one speaking in this way? He is blaspheming. Who is able to forgive sins except one, God? 8And straightway Jesus, knowing in his spirit that they were deliberating/reasoning in this way in themselves, says to them, Why are you deliberating/reasoning these things in your hearts? What is easier, to say to the paralytic, Your sins are forgiven, or to say, Rise and take up your mat/bed and walk? 10BUT in order that you may know that the Son of the Human Being has authority to forgive sins on the earth [or: to forgive on the earth sins; or: on the earth to forgive sins]—he says to the paralytic, 11I say to you, Rise take up your mat/bed and go to your house. 12And he rose (or: was raised) and straightway taking up his mat/bed he went out before them all, with the result that all were astonished and were glorifying God saying: We have never seen anything like this (or: We have never seen [anything happen] in this way).

Matthew 9.1-8

1And getting into the boat he crossed over and came to his own city/town. 2And behold they were bringing to him a paralytic cast/lying on a couch/bed. And seeing their faith Jesus said to the paralytic, Take courage, child, your sins are forgiven. 3And behold some of the scribes said in/among themselves, This one is blaspheming. 4And Jesus seeing [or (text): knowing] their thoughts, said, Why are you thinking evil things in your hearts? 5For what is easier, to say, Your sins are forgiven, or to say, Rise and walk? 6BUT in order that you may know that the Son of the Human Being has authority on the earth to forgive sins—then he says to the paralytic, Rising (or: being raised) take up your couch/bed and go to your house. 7And rising (or: being raised) he went away to his house. 8AND seeing (this) the crowds were afraid, and they glorified God who gives such authority to human beings.

Luke 5:17-26

17And it happened on one of the days that he was teaching, and there were sitting (there) Pharisees and teachers of the law (or: and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting [there]) who had come from every village of Galilee and Judaea and Jerusalem and the power of (the) Lord was for him to heal. 18And behold men bringing on a bed a human being who had been paralyzed and they were seeking to bring him in and to place [him] before him. 19And not finding (a way) by which (sort) they might bring him in because of the crowd, going up on the roof through the tiles they let him down with the (little) bed into the middle before Jesus. 20And seeing their faith he said, Human being, your sins are forgiven you. 21And the scribes and the Pharisees began to discuss/deliberate/reason saying, Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who is able to forgive sins except God alone? 22BUT Jesus (fully) knowing/recognizing (or: since he knew/recognized) their thoughts/calculations answering said to them, Why do you discuss/deliberate/reason in your hearts? 23What is easier, to say, Your sins are forgiven you, or to say, Rise and walk. 24BUT in order that you may know that the Son of the Human Being has authority on the earth to forgive sins—he said to the paralyzed one, I say to you, Rise and lifting/taking your (little) bed go (in)to your house/home. 25And at once rising before them lifting/taking (the [little] bed) upon which he was (or: had been) lying down, he went away (in)to his house/home glorifying God. 26And astonishment (ἔκστασις) seized (them) all and they were glorifying God and they were filled with fear saying: We have seen extraordinary/incredible things today.

Mark 2.13-17

13And he went out again alongside the sea; and all the crowd was coming to him, and he was teaching them. 14And passing along he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office, and he says to him, Follow me. And rising he followed him. 15And it happens that he is lying down (at table) in his house and many tax collectors and sinners were lying down (at table) with Jesus and his disciples; for there were many; and they were following him. 16And the scribes of the Pharisees seeing that he was eating with the tax collectors and sinners were saying to his disciples, Why (ὅτι) is he eating with tax collectors and sinners? 17And hearing Jesus says to them, [:] Those being strong/healthy do not have need of a doctor but those having badly (or: who are sick); I did not come to call the just/righteous but sinners.

Matthew 9.9-13

9And passing along from there he saw a human being sitting at the tax office, being called Matthew, and he says to him, Follow me. And rising he followed him. 10And it happened as he was lying back (at table) in the house and/that behold many tax collectors and sinners coming were lying back (at table) with Jesus and his disciples. 11And seeing (this) the Pharisees were saying to his disciples, Why (δία τί) is your teacher eating with tax collectors and sinners? 12BUT he hearing said, Those being strong/healthy do not have need of a doctor but those having badly (or: who are sick). 13BUT going learn (= go and learn) what (this) is, I want/desire mercy and not sacrifice; for I did not come to call the just/righteous but sinners.

Luke 5:27-32

27And after these things he went out and he saw a tax collector, Levi by name, sitting at the tax

office and he said to him, Follow me. 28And leaving everything (or: all things) rising he was following him (or: he began to follow him). 29And Levi made a great reception/banquet for him in his house, and there was a great crowd of tax collectors and of others who were lying down (at table) with them. 30And the Pharisees and their scribes were murmuring/grumbling/ complaining to his disciples saying, Why (δία τί) do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners? 31And answering Jesus said to them, Those being healthy do not have need of a doctor but those having badly (or: who are sick); 32I have not come to call the just/righteous but sinners to repentance.

Mark 2.23-28

23And it happened that he was going along on the Sabbaths through the grainfields, and his disciples began to make a way plucking heads (of grain). 24And the Pharisees were saying to him, Look, why are they doing on the Sabbaths what is not permitted/lawful? 25And he says to them, Have you never read what David did when he had need and he himself was/became hungry and those with him, 26how he entered into the house of God at the time of Abiathar, the high priest, and ate the loaves of the presentation, which it is not permitted/lawful to eat except for the priests, and he gave (them) also to those being with him? 27And he was saying to them, The Sabbath came into being/was made for the sake of the human being and not the human being for the sake of the Sabbath. 28Consequently, the Son of the Human Being is Lord even/also of the Sabbath.

Matthew 12.1-8

1At that time Jesus went on the Sabbaths through the grainfields; AND his disciples became hungry and began to pluck heads (of grain) and to eat (them). 2AND the Pharisees seeing (this) said to him, Behold your disciples are doing what it is not permitted/lawful to do on the Sabbath. 3BUT he said to them, Have you not read what David did when he was/became hungry and those with him, 4how he entered into the house of God and ate the loaves of the presentation, which it was not permitted/lawful for him to eat nor for those with him but/except for the priests alone? 5Or have you not read in the law, that on the Sabbaths the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath and are guiltless. 6AND I say to you: Something greater than the temple is here. 7AND if you had known what (this) is/means, I desire/want mercy and not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the guiltless. 8For the Son of the Human Being is Lord of the Sabbath.

Luke 6:1-5

1AND it happened on a/the Sabbath that he was going through

grainfields, and his disciples were plucking and eating heads of grain rubbing (them) with the hands. 2AND some of the Pharisees said, Why are you (pl.) doing what is not permitted/lawful on the Sabbaths? 3And answering Jesus said to them, Have you not even read this which David did when he himself was/became hungry and those [being] with him, 4[how] he entered into the house of God and taking the loaves of the presentation ate (them) and gave (them) to those with him, which it is not permitted/lawful to eat except for the priests alone? 5And he was saying to them, The Son of the Human Being is Lord of the Sabbath.

Matthew 5.38-48

38You have heard that it was said, An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. 39BUT I say to you, Do not resist the evil one (or: the one who is evil; or: evil), but whoever strikes you on the [or (text): your] right check, turn to him also the other one; 40and to the one wishing/wanting to go to court with you and take your undergarment (or: tunic), let him also have your outer garment (or: cloak). 41And whoever compels you into service for one mile, go with him two. 42To the one asking you give, and do not turn away the one wishing/wanting to borrow from you. 43You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and you shall hate/reject your enemy. 44BUT I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those persecuting you 45in order that you may become sons of your Father in (the) heavens (or: skies), for he causes his sun to rise on the evil/wicked and the good and rains on the just/righteous and unjust/unrighteous. 46For if you love the ones loving you, what reward/wage/recompense do you have? 47And if you greet your brothers alone, what more/abundant thing (περισσόν) are you doing? Do not also/even the gentiles do the same? 48Therefore, you shall (or: must) be perfect/complete as your heavenly Father is perfect/complete.

Matthew 7.12

12Therefore, all things as many as you wish/want that human beings do to you, thus also you do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

Luke 6:27-36

27But I say to you, to those listening, Love your enemies, do good (or: act in a good way) to those hating you, 28bless those cursing you, pray for those disparaging (or: mistreating; or: abusively threatening) you. 29To the one striking you on the cheek hold out also the other and from the one taking your outer garment (or: cloak) do not withhold also the undergarment (or: tunic). 30To everyone asking you give and from the one taking your things do not ask for (them) back. 31And just as you wish/want that human beings should do to you, do to them likewise. 32And if (εἰ) you love those loving you, what (sort of) credit/return/thanks is to you? For even/also sinners love those loving them. 33For even [or (text): And] if (εάν) you do good to those doing good to you, what (sort of) credit/return/thanks is to you? Even sinners do the same. 34And if (εάν) you lend (to those) from whom you hope/expect to receive, what (sort of) credit/return/thanks [is] to you. Even sinners lend to sinners in order to receive back [the] equal things (or: an equal return). 35But/Except love your enemies and do good and lend expecting nothing back and your reward/recompense will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind/friendly/good to the ungrateful/unthankful and evil/wicked. 36Be/Become merciful just as [also] your Father is merciful.

Matt 8.5-13

5And when he entered into Capernaum a centurion approached him entreating him 6and saying, Sir/Lord, my child/slave/servant is cast/lying in the house a paralytic, being tormented terribly. 7And he says to him, Shall I, coming, cure him? (or: I, coming, will cure him.) 8And the centurion answering said (or: was saying), Sir/Lord, I am not sufficient/worthy that you enter under my roof, but only speak with a word and my child/slave/servant will be healed. 9For I too am a human being under authority, having soldiers under me, and I say to this one, Go, and he goes, and to another, Come, and he comes, and to my slave, Do this, and he does (it). 10AND hearing Jesus marveled and said to the ones following, Amen, I say to you, From no one have I found such faith in Israel. 11AND/BUT I say to you: Many will come from east and west and will recline (at table) with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens (or: the skies), 12BUT the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer (or: outermost) darkness; there/in that place there will be weeping and grinding/gnashing of teeth. 13And Jesus said to the centurion, Go, as you believed let it happen (or: be done) for you. And the [or (text): his] child/slave/servant was healed in that hour.

Luke 7:1-10

1When/after he (had) completed all his words in(to) the hearing of the people, he entered into Capernaum. 2AND a certain centurion’s slave having badly (or: being sick) was about to die, who was precious/valuable to him (or: respected by him). 3AND hearing about Jesus he sent to him elders of the Jews asking (or: to ask) him (in order) that coming he might heal/save his slave (or: bring his slave safely through [danger]). 4AND they coming up to Jesus (or: AND the ones coming up to Jesus) were entreating him earnestly/urgently (or: with haste) saying: (The one) for whom you will/would do/grant this is worthy, 5for he loves our people/nation and he himself built the synagogue for us. 6AND Jesus was going with them. AND now with him not being far away from the house the centurion sent friends saying (or: to say) to him, Sir/Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not sufficient/worthy that you should enter under my roof. 7Therefore, I did not deem myself worthy to come to you, but speak with a word and let my slave/servant/child be healed. 8For I also am a human being posted/placed under authority, having soldiers under myself, and I say to this one, Go, and he goes, and to another, Come, and he comes, and to my slave, Do this, and he does (it). 9AND hearing these things Jesus marveled at him and turning to the crowd following him he said, I say to you, Not even in Israel have I found such faith. 10And returning (in)to the house those sent found the slave being well/healthy.

Luke 13.28-30

28There/in that place there will be weeping and grinding/gnashing of teeth when(ever) you will see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, BUT you being cast out outside. 29And they will come from east and west and from north and south and they will recline (or: be made to recline) (at table) in the kingdom of God. 30And behold there are last who will be first and there are first who will be last.

Mark 3.20-21 + 31-35

20And he comes into a/the house (or: comes home); and the crowd comes together again, with the result that they were not even able to eat bread. 21And when those from him (or: his family) heard, they went out to seize him; for they (or: people) were saying: He has gone out of his mind. ... 31And his mother and his brothers come and standing outside they sent to him calling (or: to call) him. 32And a crowd was siting around him and they say to him, Behold your mother and your brothers [and your sisters] (being) outside are seeking you (or: ... [are] outside; they are seeking you). 33And answering he says to him, Who is my mother and [or (text): or] my brothers? 34And looking around at those sitting around him in a circle he says, Look, my mother and my brothers. 35[For] whoever does the will of God, this one is my brother and sister and mother.

Matthew 12.46-50:

46AND while he was still speaking to the crowd, behold his mother and brothers stood outside seeking to speak to him. [47AND someone said to him, Behold your mother and your brothers are standing outside seeking to speak to you.] 48BUT he answering said to the one speaking to him, Who is my mother and who are my brothers? 49And stretching out his hand to his disciples he said, Behold my mother and my brothers. 50For who(so)ever does the will of my Father in the heavens (or: skies), he is my brother and sister and mother.

Luke 8:19-21

19AND his mother and his brothers came up to him and/but they were not able to get close to (or: meet) him because of the crowd. 20And it was announced to him, Your mother and your brothers are standing outside wishing/wanting to see you. 21BUT he answering said to them, My mother and my brothers—these are the ones hearing and doing the word of God (or: These are my mother and my brothers: the ones hearing and doing the word of God).

Mark 4.35-41:

35And he says to them on that day when evening came, Let us go to the other side. 36And leaving/dismissing the crowd, they take him as he was in the boat, and other boats were with him. 37And a great squall of wind comes to be and the waves were casting upon/into the boat with the result that the boat was already being filled (γεμίζεσθαι). 38And he was in the stern on a cushion/pillow sleeping; and they raise/awaken him and say to him, Is it not a care to you that we are perishing? (or: It’s a care to you that we’re perishing, isn’t it?) 39And arising/awakening, he rebuked/censured the wind and said to the sea, Be silent, be silenced. And the wind ceased and a great calm came to be. 40And he said to them, Why are you fearful/cowardly? Do you not yet have faith? 41And they feared a great fear, and they were saying to one another, Who then is this, that (or: for) even the wind and the sea obey (sg.) him.

Matthew 8.18 + 23-27

18AND seeing many crowds around him Jesus gave the order to go away to the other side. ... 23And as he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. 24And behold a great earthquake/ shaking came to be in the sea, with the result that the boat was being covered/ swamped (καλύπτεσθαι) by the waves, BUT he was sleeping. 25And approaching they raised/awakened him saying, Lord, save, we are perishing. 26And he says to them, Why are you fearful/cowardly, little-faith ones? Then rising/getting up, he rebuked/censured the winds and the sea, and a great calm came to be. 27AND the human beings marveled saying, What sort of one is this, that (or: for) even the winds and sea obey (pl.) him?

Luke 8:22-25

22AND it happened on one of the days that he got into a boat and his disciples, and he said to them, Let us go through to the other side of the lake, and they set out. 23And as they were sailing, he fell asleep. And a squall of wind came down into/upon the lake and they were being filled/swamped (συνεπληροῦντο) and were in danger. 24AND approaching they woke him up saying, Boss, Boss, we are perishing/dying (or: we are going to perish/die). AND he waking up rebuked/censured the wind and the wave of the water and they ceased and it became calm. 25AND he said to them, Where (is) your faith? AND being afraid they marveled saying to one another, Who then is this, that (or: for) even the winds he commands and the water and they obey him.

Mark 5.1-20

1And they came to the other side of the sea to the land/area of the Gerasenes [or (text): Gadarenes; or: Gergesenes]. 2And when he came out of the boat straightway there met him from the tombs a human being in/with an unclean spirit, 3who had the/his dwelling in the tombs, and no one was able to bind him any longer, not even with a chain, 4because he had often been bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been broken apart by him and the fetters had been shattered, and no one was able (or: strong enough) to master him; 5and continually night and day in the tombs and in the hills/mountains he was crying out and cutting himself with stones. 6And seeing Jesus from a distance he ran and prostrated himself before (or: worshipped) him 7and crying out with a great voice he says, What to me and to you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God; I adjure you by God not to torment me. 8For he was saying to him, Come out unclean spirit from the human being. 9And he was asking him, What is your name? And he says to him, My name (is) Legion (or: Legion [is] my name), for we are many. 10And he was entreating him much (or: at length) that he not send them away outside the land/area. 11AND there was there near/facing the hill/mountain a great herd of pigs feeding/being tended (or: AND a great heard of pigs was feeding near the hill/mountain); 12and they entreated him saying, Send us into the pigs in order that we may enter into them. 13And he allowed them. And going out the unclean spirits entered into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the cliff (or: steep bank) into the sea, about two thousand, and they were choking/suffocating/drowning in the sea. 14And the ones feeding/tending them fled and announced (it) in(to) the city/town and in(to) the fields/countryside; and they came to see what the thing that happened was 15and they come to Jesus and they see the demonically possessed person sitting, clothed/outer-garmented, and being sober- minded, the one having had Legion, and they were afraid. 16And the ones who saw recounted how it (or: what) happened to the demonically possessed person and about the pigs. 17And they began to entreat him to go away from their region/boundaries. 18And as he was getting into the boat, the one having been demonically possessed was entreating him that he might be with him. 19And/But he did not permit him, but he says to him, Go (in)to your house to your own (people) and announce to them how many things the Lord has done for you and (how) he has had mercy on you [or perhaps (?): and how much mercy he has had on you]. 20And he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis how much Jesus did for him and all were marveling.

Matt 8.28-34:

28And when he came to the other side into the land/area of the Gadarenes
[or (text): Gerasenes; or: Gergesenes] there met him two demonically possessed persons coming from the tombs, very hard to deal with, so that no one was able (or: strong enough) to pass alongside through that way. 29And behold they cried out saying, What to us and to you, son of God? Did you come here before the time to torture/torment us? 30AND there was far from them a herd of many pigs feeding/being tended. 31AND the demons were entreating him saying, If you cast us out, send us into the herd of pigs. 32And he said to them, Go. And they coming out went away into the pigs; and behold the whole herd rushed down the cliff (or: steep bank) into the sea and they died in the waters. 33AND the ones feeding/tending (the pigs) fled and going away into the city/town they announced everything and/including the things of/about the demonically possessed persons. 34And behold the whole city/town came out to meet Jesus and seeing him they entreated him that he transfer from their region/boundaries.

Luke 8:26-39

26And`they sailed down (in)to the land/area of the Gerasenes [or (text): Gadarenes; or: Gergesenes)], which(soever) is opposite Galilee. 27And as he came forth upon the land, a certain man from the city/town, having demons, met him, and for a sufficient (or: rather long) time he (= that man) had not worn clothes (or: an outer garment) and had not been staying/dwelling in a house but in the tombs. 28AND seeing Jesus, crying out he fell before him and in a great voice said, What to me and to you, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beseech you, do not torture/torment me. 29For he (had) commanded the unclean spirit to come out from the human being. For many times it had seized him and he was bound with chains and shackles being kept under guard but bursting/breaking apart the bonds he was driven by the demon into desolate areas (or: isolated/uninhabited regions). 30AND Jesus asked him, What is your name? AND he said, Legion, for many demons (had) entered into him. 31And they were entreating him that he not order them to go away into the abyss. 32AND there was there a herd of sufficient (or: quite a few) pigs grazing on the hill/mountain. And they entreated him that he might allow them to enter into those. And he allowed them. 33AND coming out from the human being the demons entered into the pigs and the herd rushed down the cliff (or: steep bank) into the lake and they choked/suffocated/drowned. 34AND seeing what happened the ones feeding/tending (the pigs) fled and announced (it) in(to) the city/town and in(to) the fields/countryside. 35AND they (or: people) came out to see what (had) happened and they came to Jesus and found sitting the human being from whom the demons came out clothed (or: fully clothed; or: outer-garmented) and sober minded at the feet of Jesus, and they were afraid. 36AND the ones who saw (what happened) announced to them how the one having been demon possessed was healed/saved. 37And the whole multitude from the surrounding land/area of (or: the land/area around) the Gerasenes [or (text): Gadarenes; or: Gergesenes] asked him to go away from them, for they were enclosed/gripped with great fear. AND he getting into a/the boat returned. 38AND the man from whom the demons had come out was beseeching him to be with him. BUT he sent him away (or: dismissed/released him) saying, 39Return (in)to your house/home and recount/relate/tell how many things God did for you. And he went away proclaiming throughout the whole city/town how many things (or: how much) Jesus did for him.

Mark 5.21-43:

21And with Jesus having crossed in the boat again to the other side, a great crowd gathered to him, and he was beside the sea. 22And there comes one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name, and seeing him he falls at his feet 23and he entreats him much saying: My daughter is at the point of death. Coming place (= Come and place) your hands on her in order that she may be healed/saved and may live. 24And he went away with him, and a great crowd was following him and they were pressing together upon him. 25And a woman being in a flow of blood for twelve years and having suffered much at the hands of many doctors and having spent all the things from her and 26having profited nothing but rather having gotten worse, 27having heard about Jesus, having come in the crowd from behind touched his garment. 28For she was saying: If I touch even if (only) his garment, I will be healed/saved. 29And straightway the fount/flow of her blood dried up, and she knew in the/her body that she was healed from the affliction. 30And straightway Jesus knowing in himself the from him power having gone forth turning in the crowd was saying, Who touched my garments? 31And his disciples were saying to him, You see the crowd pressing together upon you, and you say, Who touched me? 32And he looked around to see who [fem.] had done this. 33BUT the woman being afraid and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell before him and told him the whole truth. 34AND he said to her, Daughter, your faith has healed/saved you; go in peace, and be well from your affliction. 35While he was still speaking, they come from the ruler of the synagogue saying: Your daughter died; why are you still bothering the teacher? 36BUT Jesus overhearing (or: disregarding) the word being spoken says to the ruler of the synagogue, Do not be afraid, only believe. 37And he did not permit anyone to follow along with him except Peter and Jacob/James and John the brother of Jacob/James. 38And they come to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and he beholds a commotion/agitation and people weeping and wailing much, 39and entering he says to them, Why are you in a state of agitation and weeping? The child did not die but is sleeping; 40and they were laughing at him. BUT he casting them all out takes along the father of the child and the mother and those with him and he enters where the child was. 41And taking the hand of the child he says to her, Talitha cum, which is translated, Little girl, I say to you, Arise. 42And straightway the little girl arose and was walking, for she was twelve years old. And straightway they were astonished with great astonishment. 43And he ordered them much that no one should know this, and he said that (something) be given to her to eat.

Matthew 9.18-26

18With him saying these things, behold a/one ruler coming was prostrating himself before (or: worshipping) him saying: My daughter has just now died; but coming place your hand on her, and she will live. 19And rising (or: being raised), Jesus and his disciples was/were following him. 20And behold a woman having a flow of blood for twelve years approaching from behind touched the edge/tassel of his garment, 21for she was saying in herself, If only I touch his garment, I will be healed/saved. 22AND Jesus turning and seeing her said, Take courage, Daughter; your faith has healed/saved you. And the woman was healed/saved from that hour. 23And Jesus coming into the house of the ruler and seeing the flute players and the crowd being in a state of agitation, was saying, Withdraw, for the girl did not die but is sleeping; and they were laughing at him. 25BUT when the crowd had been cast out, entering he took her hand, and the girl rose (or: was raised). 26And this report went out into that whole land.

Luke 8:40-56

40AND as Jesus was returning the crowd received/welcomed him; for all were waiting for him. 41And behold a man came to whom the name (was) Jairus and this one was a ruler of the synagogue. And falling at the feet of Jesus he was entreating him to enter into his house/home, 42for an only daughter was to him (or: he had an only daughter) about twelve years (old) and she was dying. As he was going the crowds were together-choking (or: pinching together upon) him. 43And a woman being in a flow of blood from/for twelve years, who(soever) [(though) excessively spending/using up her whole life/livelihood on doctors] was not able to be cured from/by anyone, 44approaching from behind touched the edge/tassel of his garment and at once her flow of blood stopped. 45And Jesus said, Who (is) the one who touched (masc.) me? AND with all denying (it) Peter said, Boss, the crowds are enclosing/surrounding you and pressing against (you). 46BUT Jesus said, someone touched me, for I knew/perceived/was aware of power having gone out (or: going out) from me (or: I knew that power had gone out from me). 47BUT the woman seeing that she had not escaped notice, trembling came and falling before him announced before all the people for which reason (= the reason for which = the reason why) she (had) touched him and how she was (or: had been) healed/saved at once. 48AND he said to her, Daughter, your faith has healed/saved you; go in(to) peace. 49While he was still speaking a certain one comes from (the house/home of) the ruler of the synagogue saying: Your daughter has died/is dead; do not trouble the teacher any longer. 50BUT Jesus hearing answered him, Do not be afraid, only believe, and she will be healed/saved. 51AND coming into the house he did not permit anyone to enter with him except Peter and John and Jacob/James and the father of the child and the mother. 52AND all were weeping and mourning (or beating their breasts) for her. BUT he said, Do not weep (or: stop weeping), for she did not die but is sleeping. 53And/But they were laughing at him knowing that she had died. 54BUT he taking her hand called out saying, Child, rise. 55And her spirit (or: breath) returned and she rose at once and he gave orders that (something) be given to her to eat. 56And her parents were astonished. BUT he commanded them to tell no one what had happened.

Mark 6.32-44

32And they went away in the boat to a desolate place privately. 33And they saw them going/ retiring and many recognized (them), and on foot from all the cities/towns they ran together there and they arrived before them. 34And going out he saw a great crowd and he had compassion on them for they were as/like sheep not having a shepherd, and he began to teach them many things (or: much). 35And when the hour had already become much/late, approaching him his disciples were saying: The place is desolate and the hour is already much/late. 36Send them away in order that going away into the surrounding fields/countryside and villages they might buy for themselves something to eat. 37BUT he answering said to them, You give to them (something) to eat. And they say to him, Going away should we buy two hundred denarii worth of loaves and shall we give (it) to them to eat? 38BUT he says to them, How many loaves do you have? Go see. And finding out they say, Five and two fish. 39And he commanded them all to recline (to eat) in groups/ parties on the green grass. 40And they fell back (to eat) in garden-plots/companies by hundreds and by fifties. 41And taking the five loaves and the two fish, looking up into heaven (or: the sky), he blessed and broke the loaves and he was giving (them) to his disciples in order that they might set (them) before them, and he distributed the two fish to them all. 42And they all ate and were filled/sated. 43And they took up broken pieces (of bread), that which is enough to fill twelve baskets (κοφίνων) and (they took up pieces) from/of the fish. 44And those who ate the loaves were five thousand men.

Matthew 14.13-21:

13AND hearing (this) Jesus withdrew from there in a boat into a desolate place privately; and hearing (this) the crowds followed him on foot from the cities. 14And going out he saw a great crowd, and he had compassion on them and cured their sick. 15AND when evening came the disciples approached him saying, The place is desolate and the hour has already passed; send away the crowds in order that going away into the villages they might buy food for themselves. 16BUT Jesus said to them, They do not have need to go away; you give to them (something) to eat. 17BUT they say to him, We do not have (anything) here except five loaves and two fish. 18BUT he said, Bring them here to me. 19And ordering the crowds to recline (to eat) on the grass, taking the five loaves and the two fish, looking up into heaven (or: the sky), he blessed [them] and breaking (them) he gave the loaves to the disciples, AND the disciples (gave them) to the crowds. 20And they all ate and they were filled/ sated and they took up the abounding over remnant of the broken pieces, twelve baskets (κοφίνους) full. 21AND those eating were men about five thousand apart from women and children.

Luke 9.10b-17

10bAnd taking them along he retreated/withdrew privately (in)to (a/the) city/town called Bethsaida. 11AND the crowds knowing/learning (it) followed him. And receiving them he was speaking to them about the kingdom of God, and he was healing those having need of a cure. 12AND the day began to decline and approaching the twelve said to him, Send away (or: dismiss) the crowd in order that going (in)to the surrounding villages and fields/countryside they might secure lodging and find provisions, for here we are in a desolate place. 13AND he said to them, You give them (something) to eat. BUT they said, There are not to us (or: we do not have) more than five loaves and two fish, except/unless going we should buy (or: unless we should go and buy) food for all this people. 14For there were about five thousand men. AND he said to his disciples, Cause them to recline down in (eating) groups of [about] fifty each. 15And they did so and they caused (them) all to recline down (to eat). 16AND taking the five loaves and the two fish looking up into heaven (or: the sky) he blessed them and broke (them) and he was giving (them) to the disciples to set before the crowd. 17And they ate and all were filled/sated and the remnant abounding over to them was taken up, twelve baskets (κοφίνους) of broken pieces (or: the remnant abounding over to them of broken pieces was taken up, twelve baskets).

Mark 8.27-33

27And Jesus went out and his disciples to the villages of Caesarea Philippi. And on the way he was asking his disciples saying to them, Who do human beings say that I am? 28AND they told him saying, (Some say) John the Baptist; and others Elijah, AND others that (you are) one of the prophets. 29And he was asking them, BUT you, who do you say that I am? Answering Peter says to him, You are the Christ. 30And he rebuked/censured them that they should tell no one about him. 31And he began to teach them that it was necessary for the Son of the Human Being to suffer many things (or: much) and to be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes and to be killed and after three days to rise. 32And he was speaking the word openly/plainly. And taking him to himself (or: taking him aside; or: taking hold of him), Peter began to rebuke/censure him. 33BUT he turning about and seeing his disciples rebuked/censured Peter and says, Go behind/after me, Satan, for you are not thinking (or: you do not have your mind set on) the things of God but the things of human beings.

Matt 16.13-23

13AND Jesus coming into the district/parts of Caesarea Philippi was asking his disciples saying, Who do human beings say that the Son of the Human Being is? 14AND they said, Some (say) John the Baptist, AND others Elijah, AND others Jeremiah or one of the prophets. 15He says to them, BUT you, who do you say that I am? 16AND answering Simon Peter said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17AND answering Jesus said to him, Happy/blessed/fortunate are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood did not reveal/disclose (this) to you but my Father in the heavens (or: skies). 18AND I say to you, You are Peter (Πέτρος), and on this rock (πέτρᾳ) I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower/prevail over it. 19I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of the heavens (or: skies), and whatever you bind on earth will be bound (or: will have been bound) in the heavens (or: skies), and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed (or: will have been loosed) in the heavens (or: skies). 20Then he ordered the disciples that they should tell no one that he was the Christ. 21From then (or: that time) Jesus began to show to his disciples that it was necessary for him to go away to Jerusalem and to suffer many things (or: much) from the elders and chief priests and scribes and to be killed and on the third day to be raised (or: to rise). 22And taking him to himself (or: taking him aside; or: taking hold of him), Peter began to rebuke/censure him saying, Mercy to you, Lord (= May God be merciful to you in sparing you from experiencing this, Lord)! This shall surely not be/happen to you. 23BUT he turning said to Peter, Go behind/after me, Satan; you are a stumbling block (or: cause of harm) to me, for you are not thinking (or: you do not have your mind set on) the things of God but the things of human beings.

Luke 9:18-22

18And it happened as he was praying alone that his disciples

were with him (or: were coming/ gathering together with him), and he asked them saying, Who do the crowds say that I am? 19AND they answering said, John the Baptist, BUT others Elijah, AND others that a certain prophet of/from the ancient (times; or: ones) had risen (or: a prophet, a certain one of the ancient ones had risen). 20AND he said to them, BUT you, who do you say that I am? AND Peter answering said, The Christ of God. 21AND he rebuking/censuring them commanded (them) to tell this to no one 22saying: It is necessary (or: that it was necessary) for the Son of the Human Being to suffer many things (or: much) and to be rejected from/by the elders and chief priests and scribes and to be killed and on the third day to be raised (or: to rise).

Mark 8.34-9.1

34And calling the crowd with his disciples he said to them, If anyone wishes/wants to follow [or (text): come] after/behind me, let him (or: he must) deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 35For whoever wishes/wants to save his life/soul will lose/destroy it. BUT whoever will lose/destroy his life/soul for my sake and for the sake of the gospel will save it. 36For what does it profit a human being to gain the whole world and to forfeit/damage his life/soul. 37For what can a human being give as an exchange/ compensation/equivalent for his life/soul? 38For whoever is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, also the Son of the Human Being will be ashamed of him when(ever) he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. 9.1And he was saying to them, Amen, I say to you: There are some of those standing here (ὧδε) who(soever) will surely not taste death until they see the kingdom of God coming (or: having come) in/with power.

Matt 16.24-28

24Then Jesus said to his disciples, If anyone wishes/wants to come after/behind me, let him (or: he must) deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25For whoever wishes/wants to save his life/soul will lose/destroy it. BUT whoever loses/destroys his life/soul for my sake will find it. 26For what will a human being profit if he gains the whole world but forfeits/damages his life/soul? Or what shall a human being give as an exchange/compensation/equivalent for his life/soul? 27For the Son of the Human Being is going (or: is about) to come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will give to each according to his practice/ praxis. 28Amen I say to you: There are some of those standing here (ὧδε) who(soever) will surely not taste death until they see the Son of the Human Being coming in his kingdom.

Luke 9:23-27

23AND he was saying to (them) all, If anyone wishes/wants to come after me, let him (or: he must) deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. 24For whoever wishes/wants to save his life/soul will lose/destroy it, BUT whoever loses/destroys his life for my sake, this one will save it. 25For what does a human being profit gaining the whole world BUT losing/destroying or forfeiting/damaging himself (= if he gains the whole world BUT loses/destroys or forfeits/ damages himself). 26For whoever is ashamed of me and my words, of this one the Son of the Human Being will be ashamed when(ever) he comes in his glory and of the Father and of the holy angels. 27AND I say to you, truly, There are some of those standing here (αὐτοῦ) who will surely not taste death until they see the kingdom of God.

Mark 9.2-10

2And after six days Jesus takes along Peter and Jacob/James and John, and he brings them up onto a/the high mountain privately alone. And he was changed/ transformed/metamorphized/transfigured before them. 3And his clothes became dazzling very white, such as a cloth refiner on earth is not able to thus whiten (them). 4And there appeared to them Elijah with Moses, and they were speaking with/to Jesus. 5And answering Peter says to Jesus, Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; and let us make (or: let us, then, make) three tents/booths, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah. 6For he did not know what (or: how) he should answer, for they were (or: had become) terrified. 7And there came a cloud overshadowing/enveloping them (or: and a cloud overshadowed/enveloped them), and a voice came from the cloud, This is my beloved Son; listen to him. 8And forthwith looking around they no longer saw anyone but Jesus alone with them. 9And as they came down from the mountain, he ordered them that they should recount to no one the things which they had seen except when(ever) (or: until) the Son of the Human Being should rise from the dead. 10And they kept the word/matter (to themselves) discussing/arguing (among themselves) what the/this rising from the dead was.

Matthew 17.1-9

If you wish/want, I will make here three tents/booths, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah. 5While he was still speaking, behold a luminous cloud overshadowed/enveloped them, and behold a voice from the cloud saying, This is my beloved Son in/with whom I am well pleased; listen to him. 6And hearing (this) the disciples fell on their face and became exceedingly afraid. 7And Jesus approached and touching them said, Rise (or: be raised up) and do not be afraid. 8AND lifting their eyes they saw no one except Jesus himself alone. And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them saying, Tell no one the vision (or: what you have seen) until the Son of the Human Being rises from the dead.

Luke 9:28-36

28AND it happened about eight days after these words that taking along Peter and John and Jacob/James he went up onto the hill/mountain to pray. 29And it happened as he was praying that the form/ appearance of his face (became) different and his clothing (became) flashing/gleaming white (or: 29And as he was praying the form/appearance of his face became different and his clothing [became] flashing/gleaming white). 30And behold two men were speaking to him, who(soever) were Moses and Elijah, 31who appearing in glory were speaking of his exodus/way out/departure, which he was about to fulfill in Jerusalem. 32BUT Peter and those with him had become weighed down/ burdened by sleep (or [Wolter]: were overwhelmed by sleep; or: [Culy]: were extremely sleepy), BUT waking up (or [Wolter]: when they awoke; or [Culy]: when they were fully awake) they saw his glory and the two men standing with him. 33And it happened as they were parting/separating from him that Peter said to Jesus, Boss, it is good for us to be here, and let us (or: let us then) make three tents/booths, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah, not knowing what he was saying. 34AND as he was saying these things a cloud came and it was overshadowing/enveloping them. AND they were afraid as they entered into the cloud. 35And a voice came from the cloud saying, This is my chosen son (or: my son, the chosen one), listen to him. 36And when the voice came Jesus was found alone. And they were silent and announced to no none in those days anything of the things which they had seen.

Mark 9.14-29:

14And coming to the disciples they saw a great crowd around them and scribes discussing/arguing with them. 15And straightway all the crowd when they saw him became agitated/amazed/distressed and running up they were greeting him. 16And he asked them, What are you discussing/ arguing about with them? 17And one from the crowd answered him, Teacher, I brought my son to you, having a mute spirit; 18and where(ver)/when(ever) it seizes him it throws him down (or: shatters/tears him); and he foams and grinds the/his teeth and becomes dry/withered. And I told your disciples that they might cast it out, but they were not able (or: strong enough). 19AND he answering says to them, O unbelieving/faithless generation (or: kind of people), until when (or: how long) will I be with you? Until when (or: how long) will I bear with you? Bring him to me. 20And they brought him to him. And seeing (masc.) him the spirit (neut.) straightway tore/mauled/convulsed him and falling on the ground he was rolling about foaming. 21And he asked his father, How much time (or: how long) is it since this has happened to him? AND he said, From childhood. 22And often it has cast him both into fire and into water in order that it may destroy him; but if you are able (to do) anything, help us, having compassion on us. 23AND Jesus said to him, If you are able! All things (are) possible for the believing one (or: the one who believes). 24Straightway crying out the father of the child (παιδίου) was saying, I believe; help my unbelief. 25AND Jesus seeing that a crowd was running together rebuked/censured the unclean spirit saying, Mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and do not enter into him any longer. 26And crying out and tearing/mauling/convulsing (him) much he went out, and he became as a dead person with the result that the many were saying: He has died (or: were saying that he had died). 27BUT Jesus taking his hand raised him, and he rose. 28And when he had entered into a/the house his disciples were asking him privately, Why (ὅτι) were we not able to cast it out? 29And he said to them, This kind is not able to come out by anything except by prayer [and fasting].

Matt 17.14-21

14And when they came to the crowd a human being approached him kneeling before him 15and saying, Sir/Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is moonstruck (or: is an epileptic) and suffers badly, for often he falls into fire and often into water. 16and I brought him to your disciples, but they were not able to cure him. 17AND answering Jesus said, O unbelieving/faithless and twisted generation (or: kind of people), until when (or: how long) will I be with you? Until when (or: how long) will I bear with you? Bring him here to me. 18And Jesus rebuked/censured him, and the demon went out from him, and the child (παῖς) was cured from that hour. 19Then the disciples approaching Jesus privately said (or: Then the disciples approaching said to Jesus privately), Why were we not able to cast it out? 20AND he says to them, Because of your little faith; for amen I say to you, If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Transfer/move from here (to) there, and it will transfer/move; and nothing will be impossible for you. [[[21AND this kind does not come out except by prayer and fasting]]]

Luke 9:37-43a

37And it happened on the next day when they had come down from the mountain that a great crowd met him. 38And behold a man from the crowd cried out saying, Teacher, I beseech you to look upon my son, for he is my only child (μονογενής), 39and behold a spirit takes/seizes him and suddenly he cries out and it tears/mauls/ convulses him with foam and it scarcely departs/withdraws from him crushing (or: severely harming) him. 40And I beseeched your disciples that they should cast it out but they were not able. 41AND answering Jesus said, O unbelieving/faithless and twisted generation (or: kind of people), until when (or: how long) will I be with you and will I bear with you? 42AND as he was still approaching the demon threw him down (or: shattered/tore him) and tore/mauled/ convulsed him. BUT Jesus rebuked/ censured the unclean spirit and healed the child (παίδα) and gave him back to his father. 43aAND they were all astounded at (or: because of) the majesty/greatness of God.

Matthew 8.18-22

18AND seeing many crowds around him Jesus gave the order to go away to the other side. 19And approaching a/one scribe said to him, Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go away. 20And Jesus says to him, The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky (or: heaven) nests (or: tenting places), BUT the Son of the Human Being does not have (a place) where he may lay/lean the/his head. 21AND another of the [or: his (text)] disciples said to him, Lord allow me first to go away and bury my Father. 22BUT Jesus [or: he (text)] says to him, Follow me and let the dead bury their own dead.

Luke 9:57-62

57And as they were going on the way/road a certain one said to him, I will follow you wherever you go away. 58And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky (or: heaven) nests (or: tenting places), BUT the Son of the Human Being does not have (a place) where he may lay/lean the/his head. 59AND he said to another, Follow me. BUT he said, [Lord] allow me going away first to bury my father. 60BUT he said to him, Let the dead bury their own dead, BUT you going away spread the news about the kingdom of God. 61AND also another said, I will follow you, Lord; BUT first allow me to bid farewell to those in(to) my house. 62AND Jesus said [to him], No one setting/casting his hand upon (a/the) plow and looking (in)to the things behind (or: looking back) is fit/suited for the kingdom of God.

Mark 12.28-34:

28And approaching, one of the scribes, hearing them discussing/arguing, seeing that he answered them well asked him, Which (or: what sort) is the first commandment of all (or: Which commandment is first of all)? 29Jesus answered, The first is Hear Israel, the Lord our God the Lord is one; 30and you shall love the Lord your God from your whole heart and from your whole soul and from your whole mind and from your whole strength. [This (is) the first commandment.] 31[And (or: AND)] this (is) the second [like (it)]: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is not another commandment greater than these. 32And the scribe said to him, Well, teacher, upon truth you have said that he is one and there is not another besides him. 33And to love him from the whole heart and from the whole understanding and from the whole strength and to love the neighbor as oneself is more/greater than all burnt offerings and sacrifices. 34And Jesus seeing [him] that he answered intelligently said to him, You are not far from the kingdom of God. And no one was daring to question him any longer.

Matthew 22.34-40

34BUT the Pharisees hearing that he had silenced the Sadducees gathered at the same place. 35And one of/from them a lawyer (or: law-person) asked a question testing/tempting (or: to test/tempt) him, 36Teacher, which (or: what sort of) commandment (is) great/greatest in the law (or: which/what sort [is] the great/greatest commandment in the law)? 37AND he said (or: was saying) to him, You shall love the Lord your God in/with your whole heart and in/with your whole soul and in/with your whole mind. 38This is the great/greatest and first commandment. 39[AND] the second is like it (or [text]: this [is] the second like [it]): You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40On these two commandments the whole law hangs and the prophets.

Luke 10:25-28

25And behold a certain lawyer (or: law-person)

rose testing/tempting (or: to test/tempt) him saying, Teacher, doing what (or: by doing what) will I inherit eternal life? 26AND he said to him, In the law what is written? How do you read (it)? 27AND he answering said, You shall love (the) Lord your God from [your] whole heart and in/with your whole soul and in/with your whole strength and in/with your whole mind and your neighbor as yourself. 28AND he said to him, You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.

Luke 20:39-40

39AND answering some of the scribes said, Teacher, you have spoken well. 40For they were no longer daring to ask him anything.

Matt 6.25-34

25On account of this, I say to you, Do not worry/be anxious about your soul/life, what you should eat [or what you should drink], nor for your body, what you should wear. Is not your soul/life more than food/nourishment and your body than clothing? 26Consider/Look at the birds of the sky (or: of heaven), for (or: that) they do not sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and your heavenly Father nourishes/feeds them; are you not more valuable than them? 27BUT who of/from you by worrying/being anxious is able to add one cubit/hour to his height/age of life? 28And why do you worry (or: are you anxious) about clothing? Consider/Observe the lilies of the field how they grow; they do not toil nor do they spin; 29BUT I say to you: Not even Solomon in all his glory/splendor was arrayed/clothed (περιβάλετο) as one of these. 30BUT if God thus clothes (ἀμφιέννυσιν) the grass of the field being/existing today and tomorrow being cast into (an/the) oven, (will he) not much more (clothe) you, little-faith-ones? 31Therefore, do not worry/be anxious saying, What shall we eat? Or, What shall we drink? Or, What should we wear? 32For all these things the gentiles seek after; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33BUT seek first the kingdom [of God] and his justice/righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34Therefore, do not worry/be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry/be anxious about itself; sufficient for the day is its badness/trouble.

Luke 12:22-32

*Mark 11.12-14, 20-21:

12And on the next day, as they went out from Bethany, he became hungry. 13And seeing a fig tree from a far having leaves he came (to see) if perhaps (or: if therefore) he would find something on it, and coming to it he found nothing except leaves, for it was not the time for figs. 14And answering he said to it, May no one eat fruit any longer from you forever/into the age. And his disciples were listening. ... 20And passing by in the morning they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21And remembering Peter says to him, Rabbi, look the fig tree which you cursed has/is withered.

*Matt 21.18-19:

18AND in the morning as he was returning to the city, he became hungry. 19And seeing a fig tree on/by the way/road he came to it, and/but he found nothing on it except leaves alone, and he says to it, May fruit no longer come from you forever/into the age. And the fig tree withered at once.

Luke 13:6-9

6AND he was telling (them) this parable. A certain one had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it, but he did not find (any). 7AND he said to the vine-dresser, Behold (it has been) three years (or: for three years) from which (time) I have come seeking (or: to seek) fruit on this fig tree, but I have not found (any). [Therefore,] cut it out/down; why (or: in order that what [might happen]) does it even use up (or: fruitlessly occupy; or: waste) the ground/earth? 8BUT he answering says to him, Master/Lord, permit/ leave it also this year until I dig around it and cast/spread manure, and if it makes/produces fruit in the coming (year) ... 9BUT if indeed otherwise, you shall cut it out/down (or: cut it out/down).

Mark 4.30-32:

30And he was saying, How shall we compare the kingdom of God, or with what parable shall we put it? 31(It is) like a seed of mustard, which when(ever) it is sown on the earth, being/is smaller than all the seeds on the earth (or: the smallest of all the seeds on the earth). 32But when(ever) it is sown, it comes up and becomes larger than all the garden plants (or: becomes the largest of all the garden plants) and makes great branches, with the result that the birds of the sky (or: heaven) are able to nest/tent under its shade.

Matt 13.31-32:

31Another parable he put before them saying, The kingdom of the heavens (or: skies) is like a seed of mustard, which taking a human being sowed (or: which a human being took and sowed) in his field, 32which is smaller than all the seeds (or: the smallest of all the seeds), BUT when(ever) it has grown is larger than the garden plants (or: the largest of the garden plants) and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the sky (or: heaven) come and nest/tent in its branches.

Luke 13:18-19

18Therefore, he was saying, What is the kingdom of God like or with what shall I compare it? It is like a seed of mustard which taking a human being cast/put (or: which a human being took and cast/put) into his own garden, and it grew and became a tree and the birds of the sky (or: heaven) nested/tented in its branches.

Luke 14:1-6

1And it happened as he came into (the) house of a certain one of the rulers of [the] Pharisees on the Sabbath to eat bread that they also were watching him closely (or: furtively). 2And behold a certain man was dropsical (or: had dropsy) before him. 3And answering Jesus spoke to the lawyers (law-people) and Pharisees saying, Is it permitted/lawful on the Sabbath to cure or not? 4BUT they became silent. And taking hold (of him) he healed him and sent (him) away. 5And he said to them, A son or ox [or (text): A donkey or ox] of which of you will fall into a well/cistern/pit and he will not straightaway pull him up on the day of the Sabbath? 6And they were not able (or: strong enough) to respond to these things.

*Luke 13.10-17

10AND he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbaths. 11And behold (there was) a woman having a spirit of weakness/illness for eighteen years and she was bending together and was not able to bend upright completely (or: was completely unable to bend upright). 12AND seeing her Jesus summoned (her) and said to her, Woman, you are released from your weakness/illness, 13and he put the/his hands on her; and at once she was made straight (or: straightened up) and was glorifying God. 14AND answering the ruler of the synagogue being indignant that on the Sabbath Jesus (had) healed was saying to the crowd, There are six days on which it is necessary to work; therefore, on these (days) coming be healed (or: come and be healed) and (do) not (be healed) on the day of the Sabbath. 15BUT the Lord answered him and said, Dissemblers/hypocrites, does not each of you on the Sabbath loosen/ unbind his ox or donkey from the feed trough and leading (it) away give (it) water? 16BUT was it not necessary for this one (or: this woman), being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan bound behold for eighteen years, to be loosened/unbound from this bond/chain on the day of the Sabbath? 17And as he was saying these things all those opposing him were put to shame and all the crowd was rejoicing at (or: because of) all the glorious things being done by him (or: happening through him).

Luke 6.6-11

6AND it happened on another Sabbath that he entered into the synagogue and was teaching. And there was a human being there and his right hand was withered. 7AND the scribes and Pharisees were watching him closely (or: furtively) (to see) whether he cures [or (text): would cure] on the Sabbath in order that they might find (something) to accuse him of (or: [a way/reason] to accuse him). 8BUT he knew their thoughts/calculations, AND he said to the man having the withered/dry hand, Rise and stand in(to) the middle and rising he stood. 9AND Jesus said to them, I ask you whether it is permitted/ lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy (it)? 10And looking around at them all he said to him, Stretch out your hand. AND he did and his hand was restored. 11BUT they were filled with a lack of understanding (or: rage/fury) and they were talking over with one another what they might do to Jesus.

*Matt 12.9-14

9And transferring from there he came into their synagogue. 10And behold a human being having a withered hand. And they asked him saying, Is it permitted/ lawful on the Sabbaths to cure? in order that they might accuse him. 11AND he said to them, What human being will there be from you (or: Who of/from you will be a human being) who will have a/one sheep, and if this falls on the Sabbaths into a pit, will not take hold of it and raise (it)? 12Therefore, of how much more value is a human being than a sheep. Consequently, it is permitted/lawful on the Sabbaths to do well. 13Then he says to the human being, Stretch out your hand; and he stretched (it) out, and it was restored healthy as/like the other. 14BUT going out the Pharisees took counsel (= formed a plan) against him, in order that they might destroy him.

*Mark 3.1-6

1And he entered again into a/the synagogue, and a human being having a withered hand was there. 2And they were watching him closely (or: furtively) (to see) if he would cure him on the Sabbaths, in order that they might accuse him. 3And he says to the human being having the withered hand, Rise into the middle. 4And he says to them, Is it permitted/ lawful on the Sabbaths to do good or to do bad, to save a life or to kill? BUT they were keeping silent. 5And looking around at them with wrath/anger, being grieved at (or: because of) the hardness of their heart, he says to the human being, Stretch out the hand; and he stretched (it) out, and his hand was restored. 6And going out, the Pharisees straightway with the Herodians were giving counsel [= were forming a plan] against him, in order that they might destroy him.

Matthew 22.1-14

1And answering Jesus spoke again to them in parables saying, 2The kingdom of the heavens (or: skies) is like a human being, a king, who(soever) made/gave a wedding feast (or: wedding festivities [pl.]) for his son. 3And he sent his slaves to call those who were called/invited to the wedding feast (pl.), but they did not wish/want (or: were not willing) to come. 4Again he sent other slaves saying, Tell those called/invited, Behold I have prepared my dinner, my bulls/oxen and fatted cattle (are) slaughtered, and everything (is) ready/prepared. Come to the wedding feast (pl.). 5BUT they disregarding/ignoring (them) went away, one to his own field, AND another to his business. 6AND the rest seizing his slaves outrageously maltreated (them) and killed (them). 7AND the king became angry and sending his armies/troops he destroyed those murderers and burned their city. 8Then he says to his slaves, The wedding feast (sg.) is ready/prepared, BUT those called/invited were not worthy. 9Go therefore to the exit roads/ways (or: crossroads) of the roads/ways and however many you find call/invite to the wedding feast (pl.). 10And going out into the roads/ways those slaves were gathering together all whom they found, both evil/wicked and good; and the wedding feast (sg.) was filled with those lying back (at table). 11AND entering to see those lying back (at table) the king saw there a human being not wearing a wedding garment. 12And he says to him, Comrade/ Companion/Associate, how did you enter here not having a wedding garment? AND he was silent. 13Then the king said to the servants, Binding his feet and hands [take him and] cast him out into the outer (or: outermost) darkness; there/in that place there will be weeping and grinding/gnashing of teeth. 14For many are called/invited, BUT few are chosen/elect.

Luke 14:15-24

15AND hearing these things a certain one of those lying back together (at table) with (him) said to him, Happy/fortunate/blessed (is) who(soever) will eat bread in the kingdom of God. 16AND he said to him, A certain human being was making a great dinner and he invited many 17and he sent his slave at the hour of the dinner to say to the ones invited, Come, for it is already ready/prepared. 18And they all began from one (or: unanimously; or: with one [voice/opinion]; or; at once; or: one after another) to excuse themselves (or: decline; or: make excuses). The first said to him, I have bought a field and I have need/necessity/ compulsion (or: I am compelled) going out to see it (or: to go out and see it). I ask you, hold/consider me excused. 19And another said, I have bought five yokes of oxen and I am going to test/examine them. I ask you, hold/consider me excused. 20And another said, I married a wife and on account of this I am not able to come. 21And coming along (or: arriving) the slave announced these things to his master/lord. Then becoming angry the master of the house said to his slave, Go out quickly into the (broad) streets and lanes/alleys of the city/town and lead/bring in here the poor/destitute and maimed and blind and lame. 22And the slave said, Master/Lord, what you ordered has happened/been done and there is still place/space. 23And the master/lord said to the slave, Go out into the ways/roads and fences/hedges/paths and compel (them) to enter in order that my house may be full/filled. 24For I say to you: None of those men who were called/invited will taste my dinner.

Matt 18.10-14:

10See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I say to you: Their angels in (the) heavens (or: skies) continually behold the face of my Father in (the) heavens (or: skies) [[11for the Son of the Human Being came to save the lost]]. 12What seems right to you; if a certain human being has a hundred sheep and one of/from them goes astray (or: is led astray), will he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains/hills and going seek (ζητεῖ) the one going astray? 13And if it happens that he finds it, amen I say to you: He rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that have not gone astray. 14Thus it is not the will before your Father in (the) heavens (or: skies) that one of these little ones be lost/perish.

Luke 15:1-7

1AND all the tax collectors and the sinners were drawing near to him to hear him. 2And [both] the Pharisees and the scribes were (thoroughly) grumbling/murmuring/complaining saying: This one receives/welcomes sinners and eats with them. 3AND he spoke this parable to them [saying], 4What human being of/from you having (or: if he has) a hundred sheep and losing (or: if he loses) one of/from them does not leave behind the ninety-nine in the wilderness (or: desolate/isolated area) and go after/toward the lost (sheep) until he finds it? 5And finding (it) he puts (it) on his shoulders rejoicing 6and coming into the house he calls together the/his friends and the/his neighbors saying to them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my lost sheep (or: my sheep, the lost one). 7I say to you, In the same way there will be joy in heaven (or: the sky) over (or: because of) one sinner who repents – (more) than over (or: because of) ninety-nine just/righteous who(soever) do not have need of repentance.

Mark 10.2-12

2And approaching Pharisees were asking him [or (text): And they were asking him] if it is permitted/lawful for a man/husband to send away/divorce a woman/his wife, testing him (or: to test him). 3AND he answering said to them, What did Moses command you? 4AND they said, Moses allowed (a man/husband) to write a book/certificate of divorce and divorce (a woman/his wife). 5AND Jesus said to them, In reply to (or: because of) your hardness of heart he wrote to you this commandment, 6BUT from the beginning of creation he made them male and female. 7For the sake of this a human being shall leave his father and mother [and shall cleave/stick (or: be joined) to his wife], 8and the two will be one flesh. So then (or: ... with the result that), they are no longer two but one flesh. 9What therefore God has united (or: yoked together) let a human being not separate. 10And (coming) in(to) the house again the disciples were asking him about this. 11And he says to them, Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her, 12and if she having divorced her husband marries another, she commits adultery.

Matt 19.3-9

Matt 19.10-12:

0The disciples say to him, If the case of the/a human being with the/his woman/wife is thus, it is not advantageous to marry. 11BUT he said to them, Not all (can) take in (or: grasp; or: make room for) this word/saying but (it is) for those to whom it is given/granted. 12For there are eunuchs who(soever) from the mother’s womb were born thus, and there are eunuchs who(soever) were made eunuchs by human beings, and there are eunuchs who(soever) made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of the heavens. The one being able to take (this) in, let him take (it) in.

Matt 5.32

31AND it was said, Whoever sends away/divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce. 32BUT I say to you, Everyone who divorces his wife except for the case/reason of sexual immorality makes her commit adultery (or: makes adultery to be committed with/against her), and whoever marries one (or: a woman) who has been divorced commits adultery

Luke 16:18

Everyone who divorces (or: sends away) his wife and marries another commits adultery and the one marrying one (or: a woman) who has been divorced by/from a/her man/husband commits adultery.

Mark 10.13-16:

13And they were bringing to him children (παιδία) that he might touch them, BUT the disciples rebuked/censured them. 14BUT seeing (this) Jesus became indignant and said to them, Let the children (παιδία) come to me, do not hinder them (or: stop hindering them), for of such ones is the kingdom of God (or: for to such ones belongs the kingdom of God). 15Amen I say to you, Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a child (παιδίον) will surely not enter into it. 16And taking them in his arms he blesses them putting the/his hands on them.

Matt 19.13-15

13Then children (παιδία) were brought to him in order that he might place the/his hands on them and pray (for them). BUT the disciples rebuked/censured them. 14BUT Jesus said, Let the children (παιδία) and do not hinder them (or: stop hindering them) from coming to me, for of such ones is the kingdom of the heavens/ skies (or: for to such ones belongs the kingdom of the heavens/skies). And placing the/his hands on them he went from there.

Luke 18:15-17

15AND they were bringing to him also infants/babies (τὰ βρέφη) in order that he

might touch them. 15AND seeing (this/them) the disciples were rebuking/censuring them. 16BUT Jesus summoned them saying, Let the children (παιδία) come to me and do not hinder (or: stop hindering) them, for of such ones is the kingdom of God (or: for to such ones belongs the kingdom of God). 17Amen I say to you, Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a child (παιδίον) will surely not enter into it.

Mark 10.17-22

17And as he was going out onto a/the way one running up and kneeling before him was asking him, Good teacher, what should/must I do in order that I may inherit eternal life? 18AND Jesus said to him, Why do you call me good? No one (is) good except one, God. 19You know the commandments: You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not bear false witness, you shall not defraud, honor your father and mother. 20AND he was saying to him, Teacher, I have kept/guarded all these things from my youth. 21AND Jesus looking at him loved him and said to him, One thing is lacking you (= You lack one thing); go whatever things (or: as many things as) you have sell and give (them) to the poor/destitute, and you will have treasure in heaven, and come follow me. 22BUT he becoming gloomy/dejected/shocked at (or: because of) the word/saying went away grieved/distressed, for he had many possessions.

Matt 19.16-22

16And behold one approaching said to him, Teacher, what good thing should/must I do in order that I may have eternal life? 17AND he said to him, Why do you ask me about the good? One is good (or: One is the good; or: The good is one). BUT if you wish/want to enter into life, keep the commandments. 18He says to him, Which ones (or: Which sort)? AND Jesus said, The you shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not bear false witness, 19honor the father and the mother, and you shall love your neighbor as yourself. 20The young person says to him, All these things I have observed/guarded. What do I still lack? 21Jesus said (or: was saying) to him, If you wish/want to be perfect/complete, go sell your possessions and give (them) to the poor/destitute, and you will have treasure in (the) heavens (or: skies), and come follow me. 22AND hearing the word/saying the young person went away grieved/distressed, for he had many possessions.

Luke 18:18-23

18And a certain one, a ruler (or: a certain ruler) asked him saying Good teacher, (by) doing what will I inherit eternal life? 19AND Jesus said to him, Why do you call me good? No one (is) good except one, God. 20You know the commandments: Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honor your father and mother. 21AND he said, I have guarded all these things from [my] youth. 22AND hearing (this) Jesus said to him, One thing is still wanting/lacking/left for you (= You still want/lack one thing; or You still have one thing left [to do]). All the things that (or: as many as) you have sell and distribute (them) to the poor/destitute and you will have treasure in (the) heavens (or: skies) and come follow me. 23BUT he hearing these things became very grieved/distressed, for he was exceedingly rich.

Mark 10.28-31

28Peter began to say to him, Behold we left all things and followed you. 29Jesus was saying, Amen I say to you, There is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father for my sake and for the sake of the gospel, 30unless he should receive (= who will not receive) a hundred times as much now in this time houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and fields with persecutions, and in the coming age eternal life. 31BUT many (who are) first will be last and the last first.

Matt 19.27-30

27Then answering Peter said to him, Behold we left all things and have followed you. What then will be to us? 28AND Jesus said to them, Amen I say to you, You who have followed me, in the regeneration/ rebirth, when(ever) the Son of the Human Being sits upon the throne of his glory, you also will sit upon twelve thrones judging (or: to judge) the twelve tribes of Israel. 29And everyone who(soever) has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother [or wife] or children or fields for my name’s sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. 30BUT many (who are) first will be last, and last first.

Luke 18:28-30

28AND Peter said, Behold we leaving our own things

followed (or: left our own things and followed) you. 29BUT he said to them, Amen I say to you: There is no one who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God 30who will not surely receive [back] many times as much in this age and in the coming age eternal life.

Luke 22.28-30

28BUT you are the ones who have remained/ persevered with me in my testings/temptations/trials. 29And I bestow/confer on/to you just as my Father bestowed/conferred on/to me a kingdom 30in order that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and you will sit upon thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
