Watercolour
A type of paint that is mixed with water for artistic purposes.
Thumbtack
A short pin with a flat head used for fastening paper to a noticeboard.
Textbook
A book containing a comprehensive compilation of content in a branch of study.
Test Tube
A thin glass tube closed at one end, used to hold small amounts of material for laboratory testing or experiments.
Tape measure
A length of flexible material marked with units for measuring distances.
Stencil
A thin sheet of paper, plastic, or metal with a pattern or letters cut out of it, used to produce a design on a surface.
Stapler
A mechanical device that joins pages of paper or similar material by driving a thin metal staple through the sheets.
Staple remover
A device that allows for the quick removal of a staple from a surface without causing damage.
Set Square
A drawing instrument used to draw straight lines at specific angles.
Scotch Tape
A brand name for transparent adhesive tape used for joining or fastening things.
Scissors
An instrument used for cutting cloth, paper, and other thin material.
Ruler
A straight strip or cylinder of plastic, wood, metal, or other rigid material used to measure distance or draw straight lines.
Ribbon
A long, narrow strip of fabric used especially for tying or decorating.
Protractor
An instrument for measuring angles, typically in the form of a flat semicircle marked with degrees.
Post-it note
A small piece of paper with a strip of adhesive on the back, allowing it to be attached and removed from a surface.
Pin
A thin piece of metal with a sharp point at one end and a round head at the other, used for fastening things together.
Pencil
An instrument for writing or drawing consisting of a thin stick of graphite or a similar substance enclosed in a long thin piece of wood.
Pencil Sharpener
A device for sharpening a pencil's writing point.
Pencil Case
A container for carrying pencils, pens, and other small stationery items.
Pen
An instrument for writing or drawing with ink, typically consisting of a metal nib or ball.
Paper
Material manufactured in thin sheets from the pulp of wood used for writing, drawing, or printing.
Paper fastener
A device, often a metal pin with two prongs, used for holding several sheets of paper together.
Paper Clip
A piece of bent wire or plastic used for holding several sheets of paper together.
Palette
A thin board or slab on which an artist lays and mixes colors.
Paint
A colored substance which is spread over a surface and dries to leave a thin decorative or protective coating.
Paintbrush
A brush used for applying paint or ink.
Notebook
A book with blank or ruled pages for recording notes or information.
Map
A diagrammatic representation of an area of land or sea showing physical features, cities, or roads.
Magnifying Glass
A lens that produces an enlarged image of an object.
Index card
A small card used for recording information for a card index, typically used for quick reference.
Highlighter
A broad felt-tip pen used for marking passages of text in bright, transparent colors.
Glue
An adhesive substance used for sticking objects or materials together.
Globe
A spherical model of the Earth or other celestial body.
Flash card
A card containing a small amount of information, held up for pupils to see as an aid to learning.
File Holder
A device or container used to store or organize documents and files.
File cabinet
A piece of office furniture with drawers for storing papers in a particular order.
Felt pen
A pen with a writing tip made of felt or other fibrous material.
Rubber
An eraser used for rubbing out pencil marks.
Duster
A cloth or pad used for removing dust or cleaning chalk off a board.
Dossier
A collection of documents about a particular person, event, or subject.
Dictionary
A book that lists the words of a language in alphabetical order and gives their meaning.
Desk
A piece of furniture with a flat or sloped surface and typically with drawers, at which one can read or write.
Crayon
A pencil or stick of colored chalk or wax used for drawing.
Computer
An electronic device for storing and processing data, typically in binary form.
Compass
An instrument with two arms used for drawing circles and measuring distances.
Coloured Pencil
A type of pencil that contains a core of colored pigment and protective casing.
Clock
A mechanical or electrical device for measuring and showing time.
Clamp
A device used to strengthen or hold things together tightly.
Chalk
A soft white limestone or a stick of similar material used for writing or drawing on a blackboard.
Chair
A separate seat for one person, typically with a back and four legs.
Carbon paper
Thin paper coated with a layer of carbon, used for making copies of written or typed documents.
Calculator
A small electronic device used for performing mathematical calculations.
Bookcase
A piece of furniture with shelves for storing books.
Book
A written or printed work consisting of pages glued or sewn together along one side and bound in covers.
Board
A flat surface for writing on, such as a blackboard or whiteboard.
Blackboard
A large board with a smooth dark surface used for writing on with chalk.
Binder
A detachable cover with rings or clips for holding together loose sheets of paper.
Beaker
A lipped cylindrical glass container for laboratory use.
Ballpoint pen
A pen that has a small metal ball as the writing point.
Bag
A flexible container with an opening at the top, used for carrying things.
Backpack
A bag with shoulder straps that allow it to be carried on someone's back.
Funnel
A tube or pipe that is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, used for guiding liquid or powder into a small opening.
