Autocratic Leadership
A leadership style characterized by complete power, structured environments, and low group input.
Democratic Leadership
A leadership style that encourages open communication, inclusiveness, and collaboration.
Laissez-faire Leadership
A non-directive leadership style that promotes autonomy and allows staff to make their own decisions.
Charismatic Leadership
Leadership that is characterized by inspiration, confidence, emotional expressiveness, and a strong visionary presence.

Operating Budget (Day-to-Day Expenses)
The operating budget covers day-to-day expenses such as supplies, utilities, and maintenance.
Capital Budget (Long-Term Investments)
These involve major purchases that have long-term value—usually equipment or projects that last more than a year and cost above a certain threshold. Examples include new beds, medical equipment, or facility upgrades.
Personnel Budget
A financial plan detailing the costs associated with staffing, including salaries, benefits, and training expenses.
