How do we apply cream wax, how thick should it be, and how do you remove it?

Prepare the skin by cleaning and drying the area you want to wax. Test on your skin before putting on client. Apply a thin layer of cream wax in the direction of hair growth that is about 1-2 milimeters thick. Apply a wax paper strip. Hold skin taunt and quickly pul the wax strip off against the direction of hair growth.

How do you apply traditional hard wax? How thick should it be?

Cleanse and powder the skin you are planning to wax and test temperature on your own inner wrist. Apply wax in a figure 8 motion starting in the direction of hair growth. The thickness should be 3-4 millimeters thick, or "as thick as a nickel". Create a tab and leave the stick there as leverage, and wait for it to cool and harden. Once hardened, hold the skin taunt and quickly pull off in the direction of hair growth.

Do we ever re-wax an area we have already waxed? Why or why not? Explain?

You can rewax an area with only hard wax because it is a softer wax on the skin and more sensitive. You can not rewax with cream wax because it could cause the skin to lift.
