·       Check HR and BP, & block

·       Used for HTN, angina, vasospasm (nimodipine)

·       ↓ AV node conduction:

verapamil, diltiazem

·       Promotes vasodilation:

nifedipine, nimodipine

·       nimodipine indicated for subarachnoid hemorrhage vasospasm. The only indication for this drug!

Use w/caution in other drugs that ↓ AV node conduction (digoxin or β blockers)
