Gastrocnemius (calf)
Origin: condyles of femur (posterior)
Insertion: calcaneus

Soleus
Origin: proximal posterior tibia (Soleal line)
Insertion: calcaneus

Plantaris
Origin: lateral femoral condyle
Insertion: calcaneus

Tibialis Anterior
Origin: lateral condyle of the tibia & proximal, lateral tibial surface & interosseous membrane
Insertion: Medial cuneiform (base of 1st MET(metatarsals))

Extensor Hallucis Longus
Origin: middle, anterior surface of fibula & interosseous membrane
Insertion: Distal phalanx of the great toe

Extensor Digitorum Longus
Origin: tibial lateral condyle & proximal, anterior fibular shaft & interosseous membrane
Insertion: Middle and distal phalanges & 2-5th toes

Peroneus Tertius
Origin: lower 1/3 of anterior fibula & interosseous membrane
Insertion: base of the 5th MET

Peroneus Longus
Origin: fibular head & proximal 2/3 lateral fibula
Insertion: base of 5th MET & medial cuneiform

Peroneus Brevis
Origin: distal 2/3 lateral fibula
Insertion: 5th MET

Tibialis Posterior
Origin: proximal, posterior tibia & fibula, interosseous membrane

Flexor Hallucis Longus
Origin: middle ½ of posterior fibula
Insertion: distal phalanx of great toe

Flexor Digitorum Longus
Origin: middle, posterior tibia
Insertion: distal phalanges of 2nd-5th toes
