Bunion
An enlarged bursa at the base of the big toe caused by wearing tight or poorly fitting shoes, leading to thickened, bent, and often inflamed joints.
Sprain
Results from stretched or torn ligaments in a joint, often caused by movements beyond normal limits.
Dislocation
Occurs when bones are forced out of their normal position, often accompanied by torn ligaments.
Osteoarthritis
Most common type of arthritis that occurs after age 50, characterized by the wearing away of cartilage, causing pain and stiffness.
Gout
A disease caused by an overload of uric acid in the body, leading to the formation of urate crystals in joints and resulting in inflammation and chronic issues.
Chronic Inflammatory Disorder
A condition where the synovial membrane thickens and inflames, producing excess synovial fluid that causes joint swelling.
Arthritis
A general term for over 100 diseases and disorders that make joints painful, stiff, and swollen.
