Also known as the Yellow River, a major river in China that provided rich, fertile soil for early agricultural crops.

Fertile Crescent

The nickname for the rich land in Mesopotamia located between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers.

Tyrannosaurus rex

A large meat-eating dinosaur whose name translates to "tyrant lizard."
