What is sheen?
Sheen is the level of shine or glossiness of a casket's exterior finish after it dries. The higher the sheen, the higher the shine

What is a Semi-Gloss Finish? #4
Medium luster with noticeable shine and brilliance, second only to high-gloss.
What is a High-Gloss Finish? #5
The brightest and shiniest finish, commonly found on bronze and copper caskets.
What is an Unfinished Wood Casket?

What is a Natural Finish
The most popular finish. Wood is stained to enhance the grain and then sealed with a protective coat.
What is a Painted Finish?
Paint is applied to the wood. Less common because it hides the natural beauty of the wood. Sometimes used for decorative accents.
What is a Laminated Finish?
A less expensive core wood is covered with a thin veneer of high-quality wood to improve appearance while reducing cost.
What is a Cloth-Covered Casket?
A wooden casket covered in fabric such as broadcloth or doeskin. May have smooth or embossed patterns.
What is a Brushed Finish?
Metal has fine brushstroke lines that remove imperfections. Common on bronze, copper, and stainless steel.
What is a Plated Finish
A base metal is coated with another metal through electrolysis to resist corrosion, improve appearance, or reduce cost.
What is a Sprayed Finish?
Liquid paint is sprayed onto the casket. Can be solid colors, gradients, matte, glossy, crinkled, or hammertone finishes.
