trigger
To cause a specific event or reaction to happen; also refers to the lever used to fire a gun or an initiating cause.
capacity
The maximum amount that something can contain or produce; an individual's ability to perform a task.
hardwired
Refers to behaviors or functions that are innate or inherent; in computing, functions built into the hardware.
