What is ABV?
Alcohol by Volume, a measure of alcohol strength as a percentage of the drink's volume.
How is Proof related to ABV?
Proof is double the ABV.
What is considered a standard drink in the US?
A standard drink contains 0.6 fl oz or 14 g of pure alcohol (12 oz of beer, 5 oz of wine, or 1.5 oz of spirits/liquor).
What is considered moderate consumption of alcohol for women?
1 or less drinks per day.
What is considered moderate consumption of alcohol for men?
2 or less drinks per day.
Why does alcohol affect women faster than men?
Women have less water in their bodies than men (pound for pound).
What is considered binge drinking for women?
Consuming 4 or more drinks.
What is considered binge drinking for men?
Consuming 5 or more drinks.
What can binge drinking lead to?
Alcohol poisoning, impairment, and even death.

Under 0.02.

Under 0.08.
List side effects of excessive drinking.
Poor academic performance, physical injuries, fighting/aggression, sexual assault, arrest for public intoxication or DUI, jail time.
How can you stay safe while drinking?
Limit your drinking, keep water with you, designate a sober friend, know what you are drinking, never leave a person who has passed out alone (lay them on their side and get help if they become unresponsive).
