General Order 04-04

Instructor-in-Charge

MICRB Fire Instructor

Certified fire-training instructor who oversees operations to maintain compliance with standards and safe practices during evolutions.
Training Management System (TMS)
Uniform management system for training exercises that mirrors the Incident Command System used in county emergency operations.
Burn Building
Live-fire structure at FETA available for departmental training when proper requests, plans, and approvals are completed.
Flashover Simulator
FETA prop that replicates flashover conditions for training; usage requires the same request and approval process as the burn building.
Extrication Pit
Designated area at FETA for vehicle extrication training; access governed by Facility Use Request and training plan submission.
SCBA Training Simulator
Maze or course at FETA for self-contained breathing apparatus drills; subject to Facility Use Request procedures.
