Search Warrant
A legal document authorizing law enforcement to conduct a search of a specified place for specified objects.
Probable Cause
A reasonable ground for believing that a crime may have been committed or that evidence of a crime can be found.
Third Judicial Circuit
The judicial branch responsible for overseeing certain legal matters in a specific geographic area.
State Attorney
The public official who represents the government in legal matters, including reviewing search warrants.
Execution of Search Warrant
The process by which law enforcement officers carry out the search and seizure as authorized by a search warrant.
Inventory Return
A list of property that was seized during the execution of a search warrant, to be left at the premises.
Affidavit
A written statement made under oath, used as evidence in legal proceedings.
Contraband
Goods that are illegal to possess or trade, such as stolen items or illegal drugs.
Inspection Warrant
A legal order allowing a government official to inspect a property for compliance with regulations.
Electronic Signature
A digital representation of a person's intent to sign a document electronically.
