Team
A group of two or more people who interact, influence each other, are mutually accountable for achieving common organizational goals, and perceive themselves as a social entity.
Informal Groups
Groups that exist primarily for the benefit of their members, often providing social needs, identity, goal accomplishment, and emotional support.
Social Loafing
The tendency for individuals to expend less effort when working collectively than when working individually.
Team Effectiveness
The degree to which a team achieves its goals and maintains a positive atmosphere through various influencing factors.
Norms
Informal rules and shared expectations that regulate behavior within a team.
Cohesion
The degree of attraction members feel toward their team, influencing their motivation to remain members.
