What does 'in media res' mean?
'in the middle',
This graphic novel starts in the middle of Odysseus' journey home.
What is xenia?
extreme hospitality, the idea that anyone could be a god/goddess so you must respect strangers

the typical events/actions that occur during a character's journey, hero goes on an adventure and overcomes challenges and returns home changed,

asks Ody to give him a proper burial so that his spirit can rest free,

What is significant about Odysseus going to the Land of the Dead?
He is one of the two people who have ever made it out alive.
