New BG. Sophomore (2026-2027 school year) studying Kinesiology with a Sports Psychology specialization. Born in Texas. Has lived in Alaska, England, Ohio, and Bellingham. Grew up in a military family. Enjoys meeting new people, listening to music, thrifting, trying new cafés, and spending time with friends. Focused on helping new and returning students feel welcomed and supported.

Natalie Yockey (she/her)

BG Returner. From Edmonds, Washington. 3rd-year student studying Biology with an emphasis in Biomedical Science. Plans to pursue a healthcare career working with children. Enjoys spending time outdoors, including hammocking, reading outside, slacklining, hiking, swimming, and rock climbing. Member of the swing dancing, hiking, and tennis clubs. Began swing dancing at Western and considers it a favorite hobby. Enjoys trying new things.

BG Returner. From Brier, Washington. Former Pride RA. Psychology major applicant and member of the WWU Honors Program. Interested in the Nature, Leisure, and Community Wellness minor. Passionate about music, especially singing and guitar. Participated in choir throughout middle and high school and served as high school choir student president. Member of University Choir and Jazz Choir at Western. Grew up in a musical family and attended many music festivals. Enjoys outdoor activities including whitewater rafting, kayaking, camping, hiking, and adventures in nature. Father is a river guide. Interested in exploring different career paths and gaining new experiences. Passionate about event planning, community building, and creating a supportive residential environment.

Erin Chan (she/her)

BG Returner. From Vancouver, Washington. Second-year student planning to major in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a possible minor in Sociology or Psychology. Interested in becoming a speech therapist or school counselor. Fourth of six children in a large family. Has a dog named Honey. Has family roots in Guam and the Philippines. Attended an all-girls high school in Portland, Oregon. Enjoys guitar, singing, painting, collage art, thrifting, cooking, reading, road trips, and long drives. Enjoys historical fiction, contemporary fiction, feminist theory, and nonfiction. Passionate about music, concerts, and making playlists. Likes learning from others, trying new foods, and meeting new people. Serves as an Academic Advisor (AA) and aims to support students through their college experience.

New BG. From the Bay Area in California. Second-year student planning to major in English with a Literature emphasis and minor in History. Interested in becoming a high school English teacher. Enjoys hiking, walking, nature photography, and exploring Washington's forests and evergreen landscapes. Regularly spends time in downtown Bellingham, especially at food spots and record stores. Enjoys hacky sack, reading, art, sports, and movies. Likes giving book and movie recommendations. Passionate sports fan. Appreciates the WWU community and the Bellingham area.

From Camas, Washington, and born in San Diego, California. Second-year student majoring in Public Health and minoring in Biology. Member of Out in Science and Public Health Club. Interested in joining a choir. Enjoys theatre, D&D, crochet, hiking, photography, singing, drawing, and writing poetry. Often spends time in libraries and coffee shops.

From Marblemount, Washington, near North Cascades National Park. Studying Industrial Design and working on a pre-major application. Enjoys hiking, climbing, art, gaming, and walking around campus. Developed a love for the outdoors growing up near the mountains. Enjoys meeting and talking with new people. Interested in joining campus clubs in the future.

Imogen Page (she/her)

Second-year student from Seattle, Washington. Working toward a major in Public Health, with a minor in Honors and a possible minor in Communications. Interested in a healthcare career. Enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, movie nights, karaoke, arts and crafts, and going to the gym. Active in clubs and organizations on campus. Appreciates Washington’s environment, including the mountains, ocean, cities, and weather.

Reina Kikuchi (she/her)

From Vancouver, Washington. Third-year student Majoring in Environmental Science with a marine emphasis. Hopes to work and travel around the world and serve on a research vessel after college. Enjoys painting, reading (especially science fiction), hiking, thrifting, baseball, and volleyball. Member of Western's women's baseball team. Interested in building a fun and friendly residential community.

From Yakima, Washington. Studying Computer Science. Interested in combining computer science and art in a future career. Creates digital and traditional artwork. Enjoys well-written stories across movies, television, books, animation, and live-action media. Interests include Berserk and The Wire. Participates in Luddite lawn games.

Mira Nguyen (she/her)

ROA. Senior majoring in Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management. International student from Vietnam in their final year at Western. Serves as a Residential Office Assistant and International Student Leader with International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS). Member of the ASCM (Association for Supply Chain Management) student club. Enjoys connecting with people from different cultures and supporting new students. Interested in matcha, including visiting cafés, attending workshops, and creating new recipes. Enjoys making handmade gifts through card decorating, baking cakes, and crocheting. Values community, friendship, and helping others feel welcome.
