Complete Power Failure

The estop button will be pressed, and the power will be turned off, call 5920 and say “racer north/south is 29 electrical with.” dispatch operators to the trains, if a train is on the lift, the other side must cycle off.

restarting from a power failure- all opening procedures must be redone

low air warning

a fault will appear on the panel indicating low air on the system, cycle off the ride, call it in as 2-9 “racer south/north is 29 mechanical without.'“

critical low air warning

a fault will appear in the panel indicating low air in the system, all breaks will close and lifts will stop, call 5920 and say “Racer North/South is 29 electrical/mechanical with” dispatch operators to trains, if train is on the lift, the other side must cycle off.

PLC fault

a fault will appear on the panel indicating a fault, silence the alarm on the panel, attempt to continue operation, if the ride does operate, call 5920 and say “Racer south/north is 97 electrical.” if the ride does not operate call 5920 and say “ Racer North/South is 29 electrical with”

Restraint Complaint

cycle off the ride, keep the guest present to speak to a supervisor, park the train in question in the station, call 5920 and say “racer south/north is 2-9 mechanical without.”

restraint fails to lock

unlock and relock the seat again using the control panel, if this does not work, allow trains to stack, call 5920 and say “racer is 2-9 mechanical with”

restraint fails to unlock

try to unlock the seat from the control panel, if that does not work have an operator manually upbar, if it unlocks call it in as “racer is 9/7 mechanical” if not, call and say “racer is 29 mechanical with”

if all restraints fail to lock

try to lock and relock, if it doesn’t work, try to nail them, if that works cycle off, call and say “racer is 2-9 electrical/mechanical without” if that doesn’t work call and say “racer is 2-9 electrical/mechanical with”

all restraints fail to unlock

try to lock and relock, if it doesn’t work, try to nail them, cycle off the ride, call and say “racer is 2-9 electrical/mechanical with”

lift stops

ensure the block ahead is clear, attempt to restart the lift, if that does not work, park the other train in the station if possible, call and say “racer is 2-9 electrical/mechanical with,” send associates to trains, other side must cycle off.

train stops and will not move from emergency break

ensure the station is clear, attempt to bring the train in again, if that doesn’t work, call in and say “racer is 2-9 electrical/mechanical with” dispatch operators to trains

will not dispatch from the station

check that loading gates are closed, lift is clear, all restraints are locked, dual is pressing their button, e-stop is not pressed, lockout switch is turned on, if the train will still not dispatch call it in as “racer is 29 electrical/mechanical with”

train overshoots the station

if you can nail people out nail them out, attempt to continue operation, if the issue is major call it in as “racer is 2-9 electrical/mechanical with”

smoking train

cycle off, dispatch smoking train and press e-stop once its left the station, “racer is 2-9 mechanical without reference smoking train”

train blows through the station

do not hit e-stop or lift stop, wait until train is high on the lift, the other train will stop low on the lift if it blows through the station, once all trains are stopped, press the estop, call and say “racer is 2-9 electrical/mechanical with” the other side must cycle off.

loading gates will not open

unload the train in the station, call it in as “racer is 2-9 electrical/mechanical with”

magnetic gate wont open

use other gates, “racer is 2-9 electrical without”

magnetic gate will not close

have operator hold gate shut if safe, cycle off if possible, “racer is 29 electrical/mechanical with/without”

monitor not functioning

if one side is flickering or off “9-7 sound if both don’t work “2-9 sound without”

accidental estop

attempt to restart the ride if unsuccessful “2-9 electrical with”
