Modulation
It refers to the speaker’s ability to adjust or manipulate the resonance and timbre of one’s voice.
Proper modulation
It gives life to a talk, stirs emotions, and motivates to action.
Lack of modulation
It may give the impression that you have no real interest in your subject.
Voice Modulation/Public Speaking
It is all about how to control your voice when speaking. It means tuning the pitch or tune of the voice so that the message is communicated clearly and well-understood by the audience.

Stage Presence
It refers to the speaker’s ability to “own” the stage, filling it with one’s personality and projecting it to the audience or group of listeners.
Facial Expressions, Gestures, and Movements
It is the meaningful visible symbols of speech. It reflects the speaker’s thinking and emotional attitudes.
Movements and Bodily Actions
Supplements to good speech with their being transformed into actual replacements for the audible code. It is consistent with the meaning and emotion of the words.
Gestures
purposile movements of some parts of the body, but not the entire body. These include movements of heads, shoulders, arms, and occasionally feet.

Descriptive Gestures
literal; build out the meaning of words to enhance a verbal message. They help the audience to visualize the size, shape, movement, location, function, and number of objects.
Symbolic Gestures
representative, figurative
Locative Gestures
pointing a place; location; position/direction
Transition Gestures
It used to move audience from one idea to the next. It can be enumeration, lists, topic shifting.
Dramatic/Imitative/Imitation Gestures
It is an impersonation of another person’s action.
Audience Rapport
It is the name given to the process of creating an understanding and harmonious bond between yourself and someone else.
Rapport
It is the trust and connection that a speaker creates with the audience.
