a person who is actively opposed/hostile towards someone

literary/artistic work that deliberately avoids or undermines pastoral conventions to present a realistic or critical view of the countryside

antipetrarchan

a rhetorical or literary style that deliberately rejects, parodies, or inverts the conventions of Petrarchan poetry

antistrophe

the second part of an ode in ancient Greek drama, mirroring the first part (strophe); the repeat of words at the end of successive phrases or clauses
