Activities Director
plans activities to help residents socialize and stay mentally/physically active
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
a RN who has completed training at postgraduate level - four types are nurse practitioners, nurse anesthetist, nurse midwife, and clinical nurse specialist
Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse
licensed professional who has completed one to two years of education and is able to administer medications and give treatments
Medical Social Worker
helps residents get support services such as counseling and financial assistance
Nursing Assistant
performs assigned tasks, measuring vital signs, providing personal care, and reporting observations
Occupational Therapist
helps residents learn to adapt to disabilities by training them to perform activities of daily living (ADLs)
Physical Therapist
develops a treatment plan to increase movement/regain or maintain mobility
Physician/Doctor
licensed professional who diagnoses disease or disability and prescribes treatment
Physician Assistant
licensed professional who diagnoses disease or disability, prescribes medication, works under the supervision of a doctor
Registered Dietitian
assesses a resident’s nutritional status and develops a treatment plan
Registered Nurse
coordinates, manages, and provides skilled nursing care; supervises nursing assistants’ care of resident’s ADLs

Speech-Language Pathologist
identifies communication disorders and creates a care plan, teaches exercises to improve/overcome speech problems
