Ordnance Classifications
The two primary categories are High Explosive and Low Explosive.
Pyrotechnic Ammunition Classes
The three classes used for signaling, illuminating, and marking.
Guided Missiles
Ordnance with the same characteristics as rockets, but with the addition of guidance and control sections.
Service Ammunition
A major category of ammunition used for combat.
Non-Service Ammunition
A major category of ammunition used for training.
Identification Code: Yellow
The color used to identify High Explosive ammunition.
Identification Code: Gray
The color used to identify irritant, incapacitating, or toxic agents.
Ready Service Lockers
The location where Cartridge Actuated Devices (CAD) are stored.
Sympathetically (Actuation)
A method of actuation where the ignition of one CAD causes another CAD to ignite.
Shelf Life
The duration of time that begins from the date of manufacture.
Low Drag General Purpose (LDGP) Filler weight
Used in MK-80/BLU-100 series bombs, the filler weight is 45%.
Non-thermally Protected Bombs
Ordnance that is not authorized on board ships.
Inert Bombs
Ordnance identified by the color blue.
Thermally Protected MK 80 Series
Identified by having 2 yellow bands on the nose.
Thermally Protected BLU-100 Series
Identified by having 3 yellow bands on the nose.

Ordnance shipped 6 per pallet, weighing 500lbs, with lugs spaced at 14in.
MK 83 MODS + BLU-110 A/B
Ordnance shipped 3 per pallet, weighing 1000lbs, with lugs spaced at 14in.

Ordnance shipped 2 per pallet, weighing 2000lbs, with lugs spaced at 30in.
