Shows differences between elements of art in an artwork; it shows how stronger each element of art is in relation to one another

The diversity of different elements used to make it more interesting

Emphasis

The greater impact or highlight given to a certain element in an artwork that creates interest and tension

Order of the National Artist Award

Established under proclamation no. 1001 series of 1972 by late former president Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr. which aims to give appropriate recognition and prestige to Filipinos who have distinguished themselves and made an outstanding contribution to Philippine arts

Insignia

A grand collar bestowed upon the National Artists of the Philippines that symbolizes their status for their highest ideals and expression of Filipinos through their works and contributions; it is awarded to them by the president of the Philippines
