Circle

A round plane figure whose boundary consists of points equidistant from the center

Center

a point that is equidistant from all points on its boundary or surface

Radius

The distance from the center of a circle to any point on the circle

Diameter

A straight line passing from side to side through the center of a circle or sphere.

Prism

a solid geometric figure whose two end faces are similar, equal, and parallel

Right prism

three-dimensional solids that are formed by two identical end faces connected by rectangular side faces

Pyramid

The base is a regular polygon, and the apex (the point where the sides meet) is directly above the center of the base.

Cylinder

a three-dimensional solid that holds two parallel bases joined by a curved surface, at a fixed distance

Cone

a three-dimensional figure that tapers smoothly from a flat base to a point not contained in the base, called the apex or vertex

Right circular cone

A three-dimensional geometric shape with a circular base, a single vertex, and a lateral surface that connects the base to the vertex, where the axis (the line connecting the vertex to the center of the base) is perpendicular to the base

Sphere

a three-dimensional object that is perfectly round, with all points on its surface being equidistant from a central point, known as the center.

Surface area

The measurement of the outer surface of an object.

Slant height

the height of a lateral side in a three-dimensional figure
