Regional Metamorphism

Pressure only increases from the forces of the mass of the overlying conglomerate rocks at shallow-intermediate depths.

Contact Metamorphism

Temperature only, where the temperature increases but doesn't melt + results from close proximity to rock material.

Recrystallization

The process of geological material changing structure or crystal size.
