What exemptions may a FOI request be rejected under ?

Absolute exemption- information can’t be made public under any circumstances (e.g: court documents or something that could commit contempt of court)

Qualified exemption - a public interest test would need to be carried out by FOI officers and can be revealed if there is a clear public interest ( e.g: info that might prejudice the UK economy)

How do you repeal a response?

First go back to the body and then take appeal to Information Commissioner Office
