Robot
A machine capable of carrying out a complex series of actions automatically, often characterized by performing tasks autonomously.
Servo Motor
A motor that enables precise positioning and speed control with closed-loop feedback.
Light Sensor
A sensor that allows robots to detect light levels and follow lines by distinguishing between colors, such as black lines on white surfaces.
Tactile Sensor
A sensor that measures force and pressure, helping robots maintain a proper grip on delicate objects.
Gyroscope
A device that helps maintain stable orientation, commonly used in drones.
Torque
A measure of rotational force in motors, distinct from speed (RPM).
Stepper Motor
A type of motor that provides high torque for low-power applications and typically operates using open-loop control.
Cobot
Collaborative robots that are designed to work safely alongside humans.
Accelerometer
A sensor that measures changes in velocity and speed.
Proximity Sensor
A sensor that detects nearby objects using infrared, ultrasonic, or electromagnetic waves.
Internal Sensor
Sensors that monitor a robot's internal conditions, such as its velocity and torque.
External Sensor
Sensors that detect environmental conditions outside the robot.
