Nucleus
A eukayotic organelle thats is binded to the membrane, which controls overall cell functions and contains the cell's genetic material

Ribosome
An organelle comprised of protein and RNA that synthesizes protein

Smooth ER
A eukayotic organelle thats bound to the membrane, which is responsible for synhesizing lipids like fats, phospholipids, and cholestrol. Also creates steriod hormones in places like the adrenal gland, and breaks down toxins. No ribosomes

Rough ER
A large network of of millions of ribosomes that help to synthesize proteins and fold them correctly

Golgi Apparatus
Recives proteins and lipids from the ER, modifying them by adding various molecules to then package and ship out to the rest of the body.

Lysosome
Eukaryotic organelle that is bound to the membrane, which functions as a sort of digestive center for a cell by maintaing an acidic ph, breaking down and recycling molecules

Vacuoles
Membrane bound organelle contains water, nutrients, and waste for storage.

Mitochondria
Membrane bound cell with can convert nutirents into ATP for energy, powering most of the cell’s processes.

Chloroplast
Specilaized organelle in plants that can convert sunlight into nutrients and thus chemical energy for the cell.

Peroxisome
Eukaryotic organelle that is bound to the membrane, is found in the cytoplasm, and can break down fatty acids into shorter molecules while also neutralizing harmful chemicals form alcohol

Cytoskeleton (Microfilaments)
A network of protein fibers and filaments which goes through the cytoplasm of a cell, acts as a support for the cell and transport for certain protein fibers.

Cilia
Small, hair looking strcutures on the outside of most eukaryotic cells, which can move things accross the cell and sense the detect outside of the cell.

Flagella
Appears in both eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells, mainly used for locomotion.
