Medical view

focuses on deaf individuals inability to hear or speak. and seeks medical interventions. This view emphasizes the “loss” and see Deaf people as people who lived isolated lived and were separated from society. This concludes to that the best way for Deaf people to escape this life of isolation, and live a more “normal” life, is to overcome what they see as their hearing and speech imparements. The idea of living or associating other dead people and useings SIgn Language is not considered by the this view as a desireable way to live.
