มั่นใจ, ประทับใจ, เห็นใจ, ขัดใจ, ทำใจ

ผมมั่นใจว่าเราทำงานให้เสร็จอาทิตย์นี้ได้

I’m confident we can finish the job this week.

เธอมั่นใจว่าทุกคนอยู่เคียงข้างเธอ

She is confident that everybody is on her side.

เขาเดินเข้ามาอย่างมั่นใจแต่เธอก็ไม่ประทับใจ

He walked in confidently, but she wasn’t impressed.

ครูประทับใจในการเขียนภาษาไทยของฉัน

The teacher was impressed by my Thai writing.

เจนไม่ประทับใจกับการพูดจาหวาน ๆ ของเขา

Jane wasn’t impressed by his sweet talking.

คุณทำได้ดีแล้ว ผมประทับใจในงานของคุณ

You’ve done well. I’m impressed by your work.

เขาขอตวามเห็นใจจากหัวหน้าเรื่องวันลาหยุด

He asked for his boss’s understanding about the day off.

เธอไม่จำเป็นต้องเห็นใจเขาเพราะ เขาทำตัวเองให้ลำบาก

She doesn’t need to sympathise wit him because he made his own difficulties.

เขามีอะไรขัดใจกับเจน ทั้งสองคนไม่พูดกันหนึ่งอาทิตย์แล้ว

Why is he displeased with Jane? The two of them haven’t spoken for a week already.

ฉันมีเรื่องจะบอกคุณและหวังว่าคุณจะไม่ขัดใจ

I have something to tell you and I hope you won’t be offended.

ถ้าเธอยังขัดใจเขา เขาอาจไปจากเธอได้

If she still displeases him, he’ll perhaps leave her.

We have to come to terms with it and accept this truth.

Accept it. It’s gone missing.

He couldn’t accept having to sell his house.
