○ Burning fossil fuels - releases carbon dioxide, warms the atmosphere, destabilises climate.
○ Pollution destroys habitats, harms human health, toxic effect on wildlife e.g. oil spills, air pollution, microplastics everywhere
○ Deforestation, industrial agriculture - destroys habitats, destroys soil, pollutes waterways
