DRIVE
It is a flat shot kept as low as possible and is second only to the smash as an attacking shot. A fast and low shot that makes a horizontal flight over the net.
DROP SHOT
It is any shot that drops immediately after crossing the net The descent of the shuttlecock is controlled with little follow through. A shot hit softly and with finesse to fall rapidly
NET SHOT
t is any shot played as near to the net as possible, controlled by wrist and forearm.
SERVE/SERVICE

LONG HIGH SERVE
Take a position near and on the proper side of the center line and about 4 ft. behind the short service line Drop the shuttlecock on the racket side and swing the racket forward.
LOW AND SHORT SERVE

DRIVE OR FLICK SERVE

RELAY TRACK EVENTS
are the only track event where teams race against other teams. The teams are made up of four runners of the same sex. Each runner has their own section of the track, and they must pass a baton to their teammate with the goal of reaching the finish line in the fastest time.
SPRINTS
These are races over short distances and are one of the oldest track events. Sprinting events are focused on athletes reaching and sustaining their quickest possible running speed.
MIDDLE DISTANCE TRACK EVENTS
Unlike in sprints, runners start from a standing position. They stand along a curved starting line to ensure everyone is running the same distance.
