Deontología (deontology)

(from Gr. deon, duty, obligation) ethics based on examining the goodness or rightness of the acts themselves (and what duty or obligation the actor followed) rather than the consequences of the acts. The inherent goodness of the act is what matters (i.e. telling the truth—even if the result is a bad one). Neither the consequence nor the intention matter

Teleología (teleology)

from Gr. telos, end, purpose) ethics based on examining the goodness or rightness of the consequences of an act. Opposed to deontology
