Why investment banking/private wealth/quant?

I chose investment banking as a main choice because it combines two things I really enjoy: quantitative analysis and understanding how businesses make decisions. What specifically attracts me to investment banking is the opportunity to analyze companies while also working on real transactions, whether that’s an acquisition, a sale, or raising capital. The combination of analytical work, business strategy, and continuous learning is what has made Ib especially interesting to me.

Why did you choose Cornell?

I chose Cornell because I wanted to put myself in an environment that would challenge me academically while also giving me the flexibility to explore different interests. I came from a small town on Long Island, so seeing diverse and broader minds on campus definitely gave me the inspiration to push myself.
