computer hardware

refers to the physical components of a computer that you can see and touch like the keyboard, monitor, and system unit.

input devices

allows users to enter data and commands into the computer

output devices

displays or produces the results of the computer’s processes

storage devices

holds data, either temporarily or permanently. can be internal like hard drives, or external like flash drives, CDs, and memory cards

processing device

executes instructions and manages tasks.
