Sequence
An ordered list of numbers that follows a specific pattern.
Term-to-Term Rule
Uses the previous term to find the next term
Geometric Series
the sum of the terms of a geometric sequence.
Geometric Mean
the term inserted between two numbers to form a geometric sequence.
Geometric Sequence
a sequence where each term is found by multiplying the previous term by a constant called the common ratio (

Arithmetic Series
is the sum of all terms in an arithmetic sequence.
Arithmetic Mean
the term or terms inserted between two given numbers to form an arithmetic sequence.
Arithmetic Sequence
a pattern of numbers where the same number is added to get the next term. The constant added value is called the common difference (

).
Fibonacci Sequence
Uses the sum of the preceding two terms (does not have a single fixed common difference or ratio).
Harmonic Sequence
Written in fractional form with a common difference in the denominators.
