how to calculate the sign test?
Sign: Record + for positive, - for negative, and 0 for no change.
Purge: Discard all 0s.
Count (N): Total the remaining + and - signs.
Score (S): Take the smaller of the two totals.
Match: Significant if S is less than or equal to the statistical table critical value.
critical value would either be one (directional) or two tailed (non directional)
