Bake
To cook food in an oven with indirectly dry heat.
Melt

Broil
To cook food close to a direct heat source in an oven. Cooks food in a couple minutes and turns golden brown.

To beat ingredients (such as heavy whipping cream, eggs, salad, dressing or sauces) with a whisk to mix, blend, or incorporate air.
