The child exhibits concerning behaviours such as being unable to recall how injuries occurred, displaying aggression or extreme withdrawal, having a vacant stare, seeking affection indiscriminately, being overly compliant and eager to please, catering to parental needs, modelling negative behaviours during play (e.g., using violence or shouting), dressing inappropriately to hide injuries, running away or expressing fear of going home, describing incidents of abuse, provoking punishments, and flinching or pulling away when touched unexpectedly

Intention- Corporal punishment cannot be used in anger or in retaliation for something a child did.
Person- Only parents or people who are in the place of a parent can use corporal punishment.
