Recording

Permission must be obtained before recording voices or images.

Minimizing Invasions of Privacy

Reports should only include information relevant to the purpose of the communication.

Disclosures

Confidential information may be disclosed with client consent or without consent when mandated by law or for protection from harm.

Consultation

When consulting colleagues, practitioners should not disclose identifying information and only share what is necessary.

Use of Confidential Information for Other Purposes

Identifiable information must not be revealed in writings or public media unless written consent is obtained or there is legal authorization.
