Extinction

The death of an entire species or taxonomical group.

Emerging Diseases

Diseases that are relatively new to humans, which may result from new and/or increased exposure to animal or insect populations acting as vectors.

Global warming

Predicted increase in the earths temperature due to humans activities that promote the green house effect.

one of the categories or taxa, used by taxonomists to group species the taxon above the order level.
