Speed

The change in distance over a specific amount of time ($\text{Distance} \div \text{Time}$).

Velocity

Speed in a given direction ($\text{Distance} \div \text{Time with Direction}$).

Acceleration

The change in speed or velocity over a specific amount of time ($\text{Change in speed or velocity} \div \text{Time}$ ).

Factors of Acceleration

Speeding up, Slowing down, and Changes in direction.

Instantaneous Speed

Average Speed
