  1. Airspeed → 65 KIAS flaps up OR 60 KIAS flaps down

  2. Mixture → Idle Cut-off

  3. Fuel Selector → OFF

  4. Ignition Switch → OFF

  5. Wing Flaps → As Required (40 recommended)

  6. Master → OFF

  7. Doors → Unlatched Prior to touchdown

  8. Touchdown → Slightly Tail Low

  9. Brakes → Apply Heavily

Precautionary Landing With Engine Power

  1. Wings Flaps → 20

  2. Airspeed → 60 KIAS

  3. Selected field → Fly Over ( look for obstacle and terrain )

  4. Radio and Electrical → OFF

  5. Wing flaps → 40

  6. Airspeed → 60 KIAS

  7. Master → OFF

  8. Doors → Unlatched Prior to Touchdown

  9. Touchdown → slightly tail low

  10. Ignition Switch → OFF

  11. Brakes → Apply Heavily

Engine Fire during Start on Ground

  1. Cranking → Continue (to get a start wich would suck the flame)

If Engine start :

  1. Power → 1700 RPM few minutes

  2. Engine → Shutdown and Inspect

If engine Fails to start :

Throttle → Full Open

Mixture → Idle Cut-Off

Cranking → Continue ( few minutes )

Fire Extinguisher → Obtain 

Engine → Secure ( master off, ignition off, fuel selector off)

Fire → extinguish

Fire Damage → Inspect

Electrical Fire In Flight

  1. Mixture → Idle Cut-OFF

  2. All Other Switches (except ignition) → OFF

  3. Vents, Cabin Air/Heat → Closed

  4. Fire Extinguish → Activate

If fire appears out and electrical power is necessary for the continuance of the flight :

  1. Master → ON

  2. Circuit Breakers → Check ( for faulty, do not reset )

  3. Radio and Electrical Switches → ON, one by one with delay

  4. Vents, Cabin Air/Heats → Open when necessary

  1. Master → OFF

  2. Vents, Cabin Air/Heat → Closed 

  3. Fire Extinguisher → Activate

After Discharging an extinguisher within closed cabin, ventilate the cabin

  3. Perform Sideslip to keep the flame away
