Active vs. Passive Voice
When a sentence is written in the active voice, the subject performs the action; in the passive voice, the subject receives the action
Switching Between Active and Passive
Identify the tense of the active sentence; Keep the same tense in the passive sentence; Make the object of the active sentence into the subject of the passive sentence; Use the correct form of the verb 'to be' + past participle of the main verb.
