One should know the art of running a business. The experience will aid him in management, desicion making and venturing the complex competition.
Exploit Opportunity
Business opportunity become useless if missed, boon if exploited. These may be favourable changes in market, innovations, or government policies.
Rational
He should be rational, wise and based his decisions on reasoning not emtionally. He should not rely on luck, fate or chances.
Risk Assuming
Every business has its own risks. One should be aware of all possible risks like market values changes, government policies or completion that may occur any time.
Leader/Confident
A leader just be skilled and confident and be a role model for others. This creates a positive work environment for his peers. He should be the visionary that runs the business.
Fair Dealer/Honest
One must be fair to employees, peers and customers. He should sell his goods and services at the right pricing and be honest with his dealings.
Goal Oriented
Before starting a business, one must have set goals in his mind. There must be short term and long terms goals to achieve and be motivated for. They must be clearly defined for himself and his peers.
Disciplined/Organized
A businessman must have self control, consistency and preservance. Which translates to reliable execution of plans, meeting deadlines, and train the mind to achieve a goal.
Well informed
He must be aware of market changes, consumer demands and various competitions around him. He must have goood information analysis to make sound descions under pressure and quickly. To lead the business, one must have vast knowledge. Today's innovations are obsolete tomorrow.
Patient
One must be patient. Success does not happen overnight. He must stay disciplined, motivated and keep perseverance in order to achieve his goals. He must be patirnt when dealing with others. It is a sign of cooperation and team work.
