Glorious Revolution
A revolution that created a constitutional Monarchy where the king and queen were able to enjoy a royal lifestyle and there new goal was to protect the rights of the people.
enlightenment
A movement in the 18th century that questioned tradition, reason and authority. It was also to create a better society for the future.
Deceleration of independence
This is the document that sent us free form Great Britain and established principles for the new USA.

1770 Boston Massacre
British colonists fired shots into a crowed of angry colonist, where colonists fought back throwing rocks and snowballs and the British Soliders.
1773 Boston tea party
Many American colonists were frustrated with the British taxes so as a response to that they decided to dump gallons upon gallons of British tea into the Boston Harbor
1775 battle of Lexington green
British Soliders tried to take colonial weapons and American Colonists confreded them at Lexington. The fighting that followed marked the beginning of the American Revolution.
No taxing without rep
American colonists were protesting against taxes becasue in the English BIll of Rights it specifically said against taxes.

He was a Lawyer and one of the 5 writers of the Decleration of Independence (claimed to be the wrist writer tho)
Thomas Jefferson
He was another one of the writers. He was from Virginia and his family owned many slaves. Also claimed to be the best writer out of the 5.
