Central Nervous System (CNS)
The part of the vertibrate nervous system located within the skull and spine
Peripheral Nervous System (CNS)
The part of the vertibrate nervous system located outside the skull and spine
Cervical Region
It lies between the skull and the thoracic region. The section of the spine that provides the special framework of the neck or cervix
Thoracic Region
It lies between the cervical and lumbar regions. The section of the spine to which the ribs are attached.
Lumbar Region
Lies between the thoracic region and the sacral region. The section of the spine that supports the small of the back.
Sacral Region
It lies adjacent to the lumbar region. The section of the spine to which the bones of the pelvis are attached.
