d) time space convergence allows the distance between places seems lesser and less hard to get to since technological advancements allow for more people to get to further places. this encourages people to go on pilgrimages as they now have access to the technology, and as more people gain access more people will go on intl. pilgrimages.

e)governments could put in quota systems to manage pilgrims and safety. these policies could prevent overcrowding, ensure proper resource distribution and mainting public health / safety.
