What is the conditional used to express?

used to express what you would do or what would happen under certain circumstances.

How to form the conditional of -er, -ir, and -re verbs?

The conditional endings are the same as those in the imparfait. To form the conditional of -re verbs, drop the final -e and add the endings.

ex.) Nous voyagerions cet été.

(We’d travel this summer)

ex.) Tu ne sortirais pas.

(You wouldn’t go out)
