LUT Ezra 1:1 Im ersten Jahr des Kyrus, des Königs von Persien, erweckte der HERR - damit erfüllt würde das Wort des HERRN, das durch den Mund Jeremias gesprochen war - den Geist des Kyrus, des Königs von Persien, daß er in seinem ganzen Königreich mündlich und auch schriftlich verkünden ließ:

NIV Ezra 1:1 In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD which was spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia to be in his announced orally and in writing throughout the kingdom:

LUT Ezra 1:2 So spricht Kyrus, der König von Persien: Der HERR, der Gott des Himmels, hat mir alle Königreiche der Erde gegeben, und er hat mir befohlen, ihm ein Haus zu Jerusalem in Juda zu bauen.

NIV Ezra 1:2 Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: The LORD God of heaven has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he has commanded me to build him a house in Jerusalem of Judah.

LUT Ezra 1:3 Wer nun unter euch von seinem Volk ist, mit dem sei sein Gott, und er ziehe hinauf nach Jerusalem in Juda und baue das Haus des HERRN, des Gottes Israels; das ist der Gott, der zu Jerusalem ist.

NIV Ezra 1:3 Whoever is among you of his people, let him be his God, and let him go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build the house of the LORD God of Israel; this is the God who is in Jerusalem.

LUT Ezra 1:4 Und wo auch immer einer übriggeblieben ist, dem sollen die Leute des Orts, an dem er als Fremdling gelebt hat, helfen mit Silber und Gold, Gut und Vieh außer dem, was sie aus freiem Willen für das Haus Gottes zu Jerusalem geben.

NIV Ezra 1:4 And whoever is left, the people of the place where he sojourned shall help him with silver and gold, goods and livestock, besides what they freely give to the house of God give Jerusalem.

LUT Ezra 1:5 Da machten sich auf die Häupter der Sippen aus Juda und Benjamin und die Priester und Leviten, alle, deren Geist Gott erweckt hatte, um hinaufzuziehen und das Haus des HERRN zu Jerusalem zu bauen.

NIV Ezra 1:6 And all who lived around them helped them with everything, with silver and gold, with goods and livestock and treasures, besides what they freely gave.

LUT Ezra 1:7 Und der König Kyrus gab heraus die Geräte des Hauses des HERRN, die Nebukadnezar aus Jerusalem genommen und in das Haus seines Gottes gebracht hatte.

NIV Ezra 1:7 And king Cyrus gave up the vessels of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of Jerusalem and brought into the house of his God.

LUT Ezra 1:8 Und Kyrus, der König von Persien, übergab sie dem Schatzmeister Mitredat; der zählte sie Scheschbazar, dem Fürsten Judas, vor.

NIV Ezra 1:11 All the vessels, gold and silver, were five thousand and four hundred. Sheshbazzar brought everything up when they went up from the captivity of Babylon to Jerusalem.

NIV Ezra 2:61 And of the priests, the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Hakkoz, the sons of Barzillai, whose ancestor married one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called by his name.

LUT Ezra 2:62 Die suchten ihre Geschlechtsregister und fanden sie nicht; darum wurden sie für das Priestertum als untauglich erklärt.

NIV Ezra 2:62 They searched for their genealogies and did not find them; therefore they were declared unfit for the priesthood.

LUT Ezra 2:63 Und der Statthalter gebot ihnen, sie sollten nicht essen vom Hochheiligen, bis ein Priester für die heiligen Lose »Licht und Recht« aufstände.

NIV Ezra 2:63 And the governor commanded them that they should not eat of the most holy things until a priest stood up for the holy lots of light and judgment.

NIV Ezra 2:68 And when some of the heads of the families came to the house of the LORD in Jerusalem, they gave freely for the house of God, to build it in its former place:

ESV Ezra 2:69 And according to their wealth they gave 61,000 guilders and 5,000 pounds of silver and 100 priestly garments to the treasure for the work.

NIV Ezra 2:70 So the priests and the Levites and certain other people settled in Jerusalem, and the singers and the gatekeepers and the temple slaves in their cities, and all the rest of Israel in their cities.

LUT Ezra 3:1 Und als der siebente Monat herbeikam und die Israeliten nun in ihren Städten waren, versammelte sich das ganze Volk wie ein Mann in Jerusalem.

NIV Ezra 3:1 And when the seventh month came, and the children of Israel were in their cities, all the people gathered together as one man in Jerusalem.

LUT Ezra 3:2 Und es machten sich auf Jeschua, der Sohn Jozadaks, und seine Brüder, die Priester, und Serubbabel, der Sohn Schealtïls, und seine Brüder und bauten den Altar des Gottes Israels, um Brandopfer darauf zu opfern, wie es geschrieben steht im Gesetz des Mose, des Mannes Gottes.

NIV Ezra 3:2 And Jeshua the son of Jehozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren arose, and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it was written is in the law of Moses, the man of God.

LUT Ezra 3:3 Und sie richteten den Altar wieder her an seiner früheren Stätte - denn es war Furcht über sie gekommen vor den Völkern des Landes - und opferten dem HERRN Brandopfer darauf des Morgens und des Abends.

NIV Ezra 3:3 And they restored the altar to its former place, for fear had come upon them of the peoples of the land, and offered burnt offerings thereon to the LORD morning and evening.

LUT Ezra 3:4 Und sie hielten das Laubhüttenfest, wie geschrieben steht, und brachten Brandopfer dar alle Tage nach der Zahl, wie sich's gebührt und jeder Tag es erforderte,

NIV Ezra 3:4 And they kept the Feast of Tabernacles, as it is written, and offered burnt offerings every day according to the number that was due, and each day required it,

LUT Ezra 3:5 danach auch das tägliche Brandopfer und die Opfer für die Neumonde und alle heiligen Festtage des HERRN und was sonst einer dem HERRN freiwillig darbrachte.

NIV Ezra 3:5 after that also the daily burnt offering, and the sacrifices for the new moons, and all the holy days of the LORD, and whatever else any man freely offered to the LORD.

LUT Ezra 3:6 Am ersten Tage des siebenten Monats fingen sie an, dem HERRN Brandopfer zu bringen. Aber der Grund des Tempels des HERRN war noch nicht gelegt.

NIV Ezra 3:6 On the first day of the seventh month they began to offer burnt offerings to the LORD. But the foundation of the temple of the LORD was not yet laid.

LUT Ezra 3:7 Und sie gaben Geld den Steinmetzen und Zimmerleuten und Speise und Trank und Öl den Leuten von Sidon und Tyrus, damit sie Zedernholz vom Libanon zur See nach Jafo brächten, wie es ihnen Kyrus, der König von Persien, erlaubt hatte.

NIV Ezra 3:7 And they gave money to the stonemasons and carpenters, and food, and drink, and oil, to the men of Sidon and Tyre, that they might bring cedar wood from Lebanon by sea to Japho, as Cyrus king of Persia had permitted them.

LUT Ezra 3:8 Im zweiten Jahr nach ihrer Ankunft beim Hause Gottes in Jerusalem, im zweiten Monat, begannen Serubbabel, der Sohn Schealtïls, und Jeschua, der Sohn Jozadaks, und die übrigen ihrer Brüder, Priester und Leviten, und alle, die aus der Gefangenschaft nach Jerusalem gekommen waren, die Leviten von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber zu bestellen, damit sie die Arbeit am Hause des HERRN leiteten.

NIV Ezra 3:8 In the second year after their arrival at the house of God in Jerusalem, in the second month, Zerubbabel the son of Shealtil, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the rest of their brethren, priests and Levites, and all who came out, began who had come to Jerusalem from the captivity to appoint Levites from twenty years old and upward to direct the work of the house of the LORD.

LUT Ezra 3:9 Und Jeschua mit seinen Söhnen und seinen Brüdern Kadmïl, Binnui und Hodawja traten einmütig an, um die Arbeiter am Hause Gottes anzuleiten, dazu die Söhne Henadads mit ihren Söhnen und ihren Brüdern, die Leviten.

NIV Ezra 3:9 And Yeshua and his sons and his brothers, Kadmiel, Binnui and Hodawiah, came together with one body to lead the workmen of the house of God, and the sons of Henadad with their sons and their brothers, the Levites.

LUT Ezra 3:10 Und als die Bauleute den Grund legten zum Tempel des HERRN, stellten sich die Priester auf in ihren Amtskleidern mit Trompeten und die Leviten, die Söhne Asaf, mit Zimbeln, um den HERRN zu loben nach der Ordnung Davids, des Königs von Israel.

NIV Ezra 3:10 And when the builders were laying the foundations of the temple of the LORD, the priests stood in their robes with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise the LORD according to the order of David the king of Israel.

LUT Ezra 3:11 Und sie stimmten den Lobpreis an und dankten dem HERRN: Denn er ist gütig, und seine Barmherzigkeit währt ewiglich über Israel. Und das ganze Volk jauchzte laut beim Lobe des HERRN, weil der Grund zum Hause des HERRN gelegt war.

NIV Ezra 3:11 And they sang praises and gave thanks to the LORD: for he is good, and his mercy endureth for ever upon Israel. And all the people shouted with joy at the praises of the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.

LUT Ezra 3:12 Und viele von den betagten Priestern, Leviten und Sippenhäuptern, die das frühere Haus noch gesehen hatten, weinten laut, als nun dies Haus vor ihren Augen gegründet wurde. Viele aber jauchzten mit Freuden, so daß das Geschrei laut erscholl.

NIV Ezra 3:12 And many of the aged priests, Levites, and heads of families, who had seen the former house, wept aloud when this house was founded before their eyes. But many shouted with joy, so that the shouts were loud.

LUT Ezra 3:13 Und man konnte das Jauchzen mit Freuden und das laute Weinen im Volk nicht unterscheiden; denn das Volk jauchzte laut, so daß man den Schall weithin hörte.

NIV Ezra 3:13 And they could not distinguish between the shouting of joy and the loud weeping of the people; for the people shouted loudly, so that the sound could be heard far away.

LUT Ezra 4:1 Als aber die Widersacher Judas und Benjamins hörten, daß die, die aus der Gefangenschaft zurückgekommen waren, dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, den Tempel bauten,

NIV Ezra 4:1 When the enemies of Judah and Benjamin heard that those who had returned from captivity were building a temple to the LORD God of Israel,

LUT Ezra 4:2 kamen sie zu Serubbabel, Jeschua und den Sippenhäuptern und sprachen zu ihnen: Wir wollen mit euch bauen; denn auch wir suchen euren Gott und haben ihm geopfert seit der Zeit Asarhaddons, des Königs von Assur, der uns hierher gebracht hat.

NIV Ezra 4:2 They came to Zerubbabel, Jeshua, and the heads of the families, and said to them, We will build with you; For we also seek your God and have sacrificed to him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assyria, who brought us hither.

LUT Ezra 4:3 Aber Serubbabel und Jeschua und die andern Häupter der Sippen in Israel antworteten ihnen: Es ziemt sich nicht, daß ihr und wir miteinander das Haus unseres Gottes bauen, sondern wir allein wollen bauen dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, wie uns Kyrus, der König von Persien, geboten hat.

NIV Ezra 4:3 But Zerubbabel and Jeshua and the other chiefs of the families of Israel answered them, It is not fitting for you and us to build the house of our God together, but we alone will build it for the LORD God of Israel as ourselves Cyrus, king of Persia, commanded.

LUT Ezra 4:4 Da machte das Volk des Landes die Juden mutlos und schreckte sie vom Bauen ab.

NIV Ezra 4:4 Then the people of the land discouraged the Jews and discouraged them from building.

LUT Ezra 4:5 Und sie dingten Ratgeber gegen sie und hinderten ihr Vorhaben, solange Kyrus, der König von Persien, lebte, bis zur Herrschaft des Darius, des Königs von Persien.

NIV Ezra 4:5 And they hired counselors against them, and hindered their purpose, as long as Cyrus king of Persia lived, until the reign of Darius king of Persia.

LUT Ezra 4:6 Und als Ahasveros König war, im Anfang seiner Herrschaft, schrieb man eine Anklage gegen die Bewohner von Juda und Jerusalem.

NIV Ezra 4:6 And when Ahasuerus was king, in the beginning of his reign, an indictment was written against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem.
